OC: Cauldron Born

Long story...sorry. Short story short:

I finished my submission, i come back to a froz'd (yes froz'd) Flash Player and the only thing I could do was take a screen snap.

How he got his mark: After completing his first few errands/job's his employer at the time had noticed the flash from under his jacket. Pulling up said jacket he found that his mark had appeared.

Spoiler: Family 

His dad brought Cauldron up and raised him to follow in his fathers own hoof steps as a freelancer. Honor Born (dad) had met River Breeze (mom) as they worked for the same employer. They fell in love and had a foal. River had brought Cauldron to Honor as they mutually agreed that Honor is best to raise their son as one of them needed to work to support the family, and River was far more efficient.

---Now before I'm asked to include even more to his, note that we known nothing of AJ's parents so this should be juicy enough.

Add-on: Cauldron speaks with a subtle southern accent , its noticeable on some words but over all you'd need to actually pay attention to hear it. He doesnt usually share any of his works stories unless asked.

Cauldron's hat was passed down from his father having been in the family for sometime. While the stories details are well aged and fuzzy, its known that his grandfather, who was a sheriff in a small town located in the Muddi Desert, had worn the hat as a sign of guardianship. His loyalty to the townsfolk was iron clad. This hat is the most prized possession of Cauldron Born

His bandanna and duster jacket are simply preference as they keep him warm, comfortable and the pockets offer holding space (obviously). He only ever pulls down his bandanna is to eat, drink or sleep.

Cauldron's signature 'sign-off/thanks' simply involves a single bit being tossed from hoof to table followed by a hat tip to those who have given him anything of value (usually information).

Add-on: CB has been sent on countless and various jobs. One that he is most notable for is a medicine run; His employers foal was in need of a rare ingredient that was used in combination with others to formulate the necessary medicine. His challenge was time as he needed to cross a distance that would have taken three days minimum. Reaching a shallow forest he had acquired a specific tree sap and returned with 24+ hours earlier than expected.

Another notable job includes ridding a pesky and curious pack of Timber Wolves from a settlement.

I think the first thing to address is the story of his mother. If he only had the chance to know his father, where was she?

Past that, it's mainly just detail that we're looking for. If he's been working as a freelancer for the past 20 years, surely he's had a fair share of stories that could add to his character, or otherwise be given an explanation here, so the readers can further understand his work ethic. In the cutie mark section, you describe it as "vague and metaphorical"... well, that's a bit vague, and said metaphor would need to be explained. I may RP as an the magically OP Twilight Sparkle, but I can't read minds!

As an aside, it appears to be inferred that he resides in Ponyville if he is not away on a job. This would be helpful to explicitly mention.

Though I prefer to leave out stories so he can explain them in RP without having to type it out several times which is blatantly unnecessary. I'll add in a few more things as I'd rather tell them in RP. Which simply and suitably make sense.

Alright, thank you for updating.

The story regarding her mother is fine, working ponies can't always be around. I'm sorry that you don't like to tell stories in the submission, but this is part of the process. It's moreso to give explanation and emphasis upon character or personality traits than anything. We're not asking for his entire life story here, merely just a few sentences describing something that he did. You could use this to explain why he wears the outfit which he does, seeing as it's not something we'd typically see per canon, and something that will need some sort of explanation regardless.
