Background:
Born in Cloudsdale, RainbowShine has had a pretty normal life so far, she dropped out of flying school when she got her cutie mark and has been working with her dad at the rainbow factory ever since. She is the third generation in a family of rainbow makers and currently is the one in charge of the production of rainbow juice in the factory.
Recently she has been forced to take a couple months off work since she hasn't taken a single day off since she started working at around the age of 15. Some would call her a work addict.
She has decided to take her break away from Cloudsdale and is staying in Ponyville for the time being, with the hopes of finding some new friends and experiencing a different ambient since she has never left the flying city before and doesn't have too many friends there, mainly because her obssesion work leaves her very little free time to spend with other ponies.
Personality:
She is very friendly and kind. One of her major problems is that she gets rather anxious when she doesn't have anything to do, hence her obssesion for work.
Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark shows her passion for weather, specially rainbows, and her love for colorful things. She obtained it one day when her father took her to the rainbow factory and she could see first hand how the rainbows were made. She instantly fell in love with the place and has been working there ever since as her father's assistant, recently her father retired and left her in charge.
