Whirl took one more moment to make sure Red was okay. "You seem fine, come on. Let's join them." he said as he turned and slid down with them.

Blinkie nodded, seeing that everypony was there, and she began to inspect the rocky walls of the cavern, analyzing and detailing every facet and part of the inside of the cave. She then grinned widely, and cracked off a little piece of the wall with her pick. She then brought it to show the group. "You guys..you guys know what this is?"
Red, being one to do things differently, instead jumped off the edge, spreading her wings and gliding down to meet everyone.
"No clue, why? Is it something important?" She asked, curiosity in her voice.
The mare pushed her hooves out to the group, cradling a little chunk of a greenish-blue mineral. "It's turquoise! Turquoise jewelery is extremely popular right now with Canterlot's elite, or so I've heard. C'mon, let's get the rest!" She hurried back to the wall, beginning to smash pieces of the rock out.
Ferrarity nods and starts picking away at the walls of turquoise speedily. "This shouldn't take long." She wasn't very interested in the gems, though they were pretty. She was more for the adventure itself, finding gems and ores were just a side quest for her, but she was happy to help in the endeavor.
Whirl grabbed his pick and swung it hard. It hit the rock and got stuck. Whirl tugged at it a few times. "Uuhhh whopse... my um ax is stuck... he said while blushing.
Blinkie giggled, and trotted over to Wind, pulling the pick out of the rock with one fell swoop. "C'mon, Windy, step it up!" She smirked, taking the minerals she had gathered and dumping them into her saddlebags, then pressing on! "Onward!"
Whirl followed slowly. "Way to keep screwing up dummy!" he thought as he walked with his head down.
Red, had just begain to swing her pick backwards when Blinkie had announced they were moving on. She tried stopping, but momentum carried her backward and she fell, falling onto her back.
"Oof!"
Whirl heard a thump behind him. He turned and saw Red on the floor. He helped her up and said, "Don't worry, you aren't the only one messing up today. He gave her a reassuring smile.
