Red was still sitting outside the place everypony was eating, and she was getting a little bored. After a few minutes longer, she peeked her head inside the doorway.
"You guys almost done?" she asked, impatiants in her voice.
Red was still sitting outside the place everypony was eating, and she was getting a little bored. After a few minutes longer, she peeked her head inside the doorway.
"You guys almost done?" she asked, impatiants in her voice.
As Blinkie finished her meal, she looked out the door at Red.
"Yeah, yeah, I think. Just Whim's gotta finish eating."
"Oh, alright. So, where exactly is the mineshaft were going down? Is it in the outskirts of Ponyville or something?
Ferrarity got her food hearing one pony was getting a little anxious, she picked up her plate and tilted it towards her mouth, sliding the whole plate in her mouth. She didn't really chew, just swallowed the whole thing. "Ready now that I have some food in me."
Candi nodded and nibbled on Whims sandwich, as sh began to eat she realized she wasnt as hungry as she thought. Maybe it was her nerves about going down into the mine, but she found the food unsettled her stomach instead of satisfying her. "You know what darling, I dont really feel like eating anymore, it seems Lush is a little nervous." She reached out and held onto Whim in a way that let him know it was really she who was nervous, and tried to draw strengh from his promise. "Well I guess that means I'm ready..."
Whim brought her closer to him. "I understand, Candi. He gave her a kiss on her forehead. Then looked around at everyone waiting. "I'll finish up real quick," he said, picking up the remainder of his sandwich and shoving it all in his mouth, chewing and swallowing as quick as he could. He then picked up the hay and put it in his saddle bag. Wrapping one leg around Candi, Whim looked at the group."We are ready."
Blinkie slowly stood up, her saddlebags hugging her haunches. She stretched her legs, and took a sip from her bottle. She made a face, but shook it off. Clearing her throat, she looked out of the building.
"..tonight, we will gather our supplies, and we'll head out in the morning, early."
The barely 21-year-old mare stared down her snout at the ragtag group in front of her.
"Follow me."
Blinkie set out of the restaurant, walking slowly, but fluidly, cautious of what lingered in the night.
Ferrarity nodded and followed Blinkie outside, eager to get this adventure started. "I can't wait to see what we find!" She said cheerily having a little bounce in her step as she walked.
Whirl nodded and stood. He followed Blinkie outside. "I have no idea what we will find. I am not even sure what to expect. I am really just in it for the adventure." He said with a spring in his step.
Red stood there stretching her legs. She really didn't have much to say about the adventure other than "Lets do this!"
