Name: Shadow Silvertail
Gender: Female
Species: Alicorn
Approximate age: (19)
Picture and/or Description: Shadow Silvertail is a black coated alicorn pony with blue eyes that seem to burn with an inner fire. She is sturdy, muscular, and well defined. Her wings are slightly longer than a normal alicorn.
Her mane and tail are a glittery silver color.
Background: Born August, 1st, 1993. She was born to a family of five. Her mother, one of the Wonderbolts, was named Rosefire, she had eyes of red as red as the rose, and her mane and tail were also red. Rosefire's coat was a silky black. She was a Wonderbolt for many years but decided to give up that dream to raise a family. Rosefire then became a teacher.
Her father, a blacksmith, was named Starsteel, his mane and tail are a metallic silver color and his coat is a deep emerald/jade combination. Starsteel's job became hazardous because of the fumes. He then have it up and became a home builder.
Shadow Silvertail was the middle foal.
While she was young, her heart was as large as the mountain. She cared and helped every pony around her if she could.
She then became one of her fathers workers. She enjoyed her job before she had a terrible accident. They were putting up the finishing touches on the house when a freak storm hit. Shadow Silvertail was struck to the ground by a bolt of lightning. When she regained consciousness, they saw her eyes. Her eyes which were a normal blue before, they now turned colors from blue to green to lavender.
The doctor said that her eyes were ok. He said" She had a dormant gene that was awakened by the lightning.
She was to be a very special alicorn.
The doctor had no idea just how true his words were.
Personality:
Shadow Silvertail is a shy but hard working alicorn. She is a shy, and she tries to avoid the crowded party scenes.
Cutie Mark: Shadow Silvertail's cutie mark is a comet flying in a circle around two crossed hammers. Her cutie mark symbolizes her speed and her natural talent at building things.
She uses her abilities to help ponies that have lost their homes to natural disasters and gives homes to those less fortunate than her.
The cutie mark story: Shadow got her cutie mark while building a house for the Clover family. Their house had been destroyed by a freak storm a few weeks earlier. They were staying with Rosefire and her family. During the third to last day while working on the roof, they were using a pulley to lift the heavy planks for the roof. The pulley broke while halfway to the roof. The Clover twins were playing under it when it broke. Shadow saw everything and she took off to get the twins. She flew so fast as to have her silver tail make the tail of the comet. She finished working on the house and her father checked out her work. He said " This is the best work I've ever seen even among my seasoned hands. Great job Shadow". Shadow looked at her flank to see if she got her cutie mark. She nearly jumped with surprise when she discovered that she did. She found that she had a comet flying in a circle around two crossed hammers. Her father and mother made a party to celebrate her cutie mark. She never was shy again.
