OC: Mikael Tercel

Name: Mikael Tercel (Or Mike the Griffon)

Species: Griffon

Mikael possess a tanned brown coat of fur, and a much darker brown feather colour. His forearms and talons are the classic yellow of a bird of prey, and overall he's a stocky, but fairly fit griffon. His wings are a bit short for a griffon of his size, but hey, genetics, amirite?

Mikael often wears an old, knitted scarf around his neck to cover his large, unsightly scar; this old wound is the result of a childhood injury that never fully healed properly. (Fell on a campfire during a birthday party)



Background: Raised in the griffon homelands across the sea, Mikael came to Equestria eight years ago in search of opportunity and fortune. An immigrant in Equestria is a hard life already, and being a member of a rather… well exotic race makes it just that much harder. However, he has persevered throughout it all, and has managed to make a (somewhat) comfortable life for himself. \

Having lived in Manehatten for the majority of his time in Equestria, Mikael tried his talons at many different jobs. With the majority of his time spent as a factory worker, the griffon managed to make ends meet. However, the griffon decided that factory life wasn’t for him; using money he had saved over the several years he had worked, the griffon bought a home in a little town known as Ponyville, and left his life in busy, bustling Manehatten behind.

Taking on work as a carpenter (as the griffon had picked that trade up long before his departure to Equestria) Mikael has tried to adjust to life with the ponies. What will Ponyville hold for this griffon? Well, he’ll just have to find out!



Personality: Mikael is friendly and somewhat boisterous, fond of eating and drinking. However, he has a bit of a pride issue; he takes names pretty seriously, and any accusations to his personal character will likely be met with anger.

As discussed in PM's, this should be good to go!

Only thing we'd like to make note of is that, should the factory in Manehattan ever come into mention in the RP, it be noted as a place with little-to-no automation. I more-or-less made this implication based off of you saying he'd earned carpentry skills prior, leading me to assume his work, and thus, the factory's, was one of manual labor. I doubt this would ever be an issue regardless, but we felt it deserved a mention!
