      First off, the bible isn't a story, it is in a christian nutshell a bunch of texts stitched together rather vaguely who's translations are often the subject of massive debate.

      For example, one section like Job is just one long parable, while other sections like Exodus is a look into Jewish history by their own witness.

      I would suggest you find a bible study book, since the complexity of christian lore is a extremely deep and grinding dive into the human experience and personal salvation.
