A Brief Note From Applejack

Back in May of 2012, I made a thread to see if it would be a good idea to start up work on making a live radio show for the brony community. After a fairly positive reaction, and permission from the higher ups, I made a thread to start planning out a name, mascot and what have you. I figured that if I wanted to make a show for bronies, it should be made by bronies. Much to my joy, many users agreed and soon I wasn't alone in making Radio is Magic a reality. We soon formed a user group to make things more organized, but even that wasn't enough to control the interest in this project! Now we have our own subforum here on EqF thanks to our mighty admin Discord. We're also in the midst of developing our own website!I am not going to lie. I am speechless that this project has grown to this point, so lets do what we can to show that this is all not just hype. Let's show that EqF has what it takes to put on something like never before.

About The Show

Broadcasting every Monday through Thursday, and every other Friday, at 6pm to 8pm (CST) live on an internet stream, Radio is Magic will be bringing you a range of songs, stories and radio dramas created by the members of the equestriaforever.com community. To add to the awesomeness, the show will also host contests to earn prizes & rewards; talk shows on the latest, and greatest, Brony topics; and also on-the-air-forums where listeners can send in topics and ideas for our panel of 'experts' to discuss. (Could be a good way to learn the meaning of life and pursuit of all things pony!) Further more, we haven't forgotten about the folks who won’t be able to make it to all of the broadcasts, so every episode will also be recorded and put into a podcast. So you too can be 20% cooler whenever or wherever!

Do you enjoy reading? Have something interesting to discuss about your latest literary conquest? Want some recommendations? Maybe you just want other people to do the reading for you, so you can speak convincingly about works you've never read. This is the show for you. Each week, your hosts will speak about one selection they have all read together, along with any individual reading they've been doing, and any literary insight you'd like to share in the shoutbox.

How to Listen In

Okay, until the project grows large enough to warrant the establishing of our own radio stream, Radio is Magic will be using Livestream until further notice. So to tune all you need to do is go here and simply listen in.
When we aren't broadcasting, we'll be playing live recordings of past shows. Hope to see you all on the air every M-Fri, at 6pm-8pm (CST)! In the event you miss a show, or just want to relieve some past ones, we have done our best to keep our recordings up. It's coming along slowly but surely. We are already accepting donations to help promote the growth of both the show and the website. Our goal is to one day broadcast 24/7 from our own website, bringing ponies to people's ears all day long. Regarding the Forum Change

RiM is settling down here on EqF for the long haul. Discord has done a great deal to see that we are well supported and we owe him a lot. While we hope to centralize our activities on RadioIsMagic.org in the near future, this subforum will remain open for the community. As we always say, RiM is for the community, we want to hear from you, and often!
