Description

Flareon is a red male, fire element alicorn pony that is the protagonist of My Little Pony: Will Of Fire. Flareon represents the element of fire and is the descendant of Nova, the leader of the Elemental Warriors, who sealed a black dragon named Alexei 10,000 years ago. Flareon was originally a human that was found by Twilight, who said she saw him lying unconscious on the ground. After meeting the princess of Equestria, Princess Celestia, he finds out that he is the "chosen one" by an ancient prophecy that says he is the one destined to defeat Alexei once and for all. He then marries Twilight due to a part of the prophecy saying that the "chosen one must choose one to marry that possesses an element of harmony who will in part bear the new future princess of Equestria". Flareon lives at Golden Oaks Library in Ponyville, along with his wife Twilight, her assistant Spike, and her pet Owlowiscious. Flareon's pet is the child of Amaterasu, a white wolf pup named Chiberatsu, who is introduced in season 3. Flareon and Twilight eventually have a daughter, a white alicorn pony named Solana, who is introduced in season 2. Flareon sacrifices himself to defeat Alexei in the season 2 finale. He is later revived by "The Creator", a black and white alicorn named Infinity, in the season 3 opening. In the season 3 finale, Flareon becomes a prince along with Twilight, who becomes a princess after she changes into an alicorn. Similar to Twilight, Flareon loves to read books. Unlike Twilight who loves to learn new spells, Flareon loves to brew potions and is very skilled at making them, though he tends to mess up sometimes. Flareon is very skilled at playing the guitar, a DJ prodigy, knows how to surf, experienced at playing baseball, hockey, soccer, and can invent and create almost anything. Flareon is known to be stubborn, hot headed, prideful, has an ego, believes he is always right, and tries to do everything by himself, but Flareon is also known to be a natural born leader, very smart, responsible, caring, loyal, kind, honest, and does everything he can to protect Twilight and Solana. In the beginning, Flareon is very distant from everyone because he doesn't believe he naturally belongs, and thinks everyone only cares for him being the chosen one and nothing else, but throughout MLP:WOF, Flareon begins to change and realizes the value of friendship.

Powers and Abilities

Fire Element Magic

Flareon can create fire from his horn which can be shot in big single shots and small rapid-fire shots. Flareon can also create a small light from his horn which can be used to navigate through the dark. Flareon can also heat up popcorn very easily.

Fire Tornado and Fire Hurricane

Flareon is able to create a fire tornado by cloaking himself in fire and flying from the ground and going upwards in a circle at high speed and then kicking it towards multiple enemies. In Flame God Mode, the Fire Tornado is upgraded to a more power form, the Fire Hurricane, which is both wider, delivers more damage, and can hit even more enemies.

Fire Shuriken

Flareon is able to create a fireball above his horn and rotate it at high speed to create blades around it in which it can be thrown and defeat multiple enemies at one time. In Flame God Mode, Flareon can create the Fire Shuriken in less time, throw it faster, becomes wider, and delivers more damage.

Supernova Cannon

Flareon is able to perform the Supernova Cannon, which is similar to Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom. Just as Flareon attempts to break the sound barrier, he cloaks himself in fire, which acts like a speed booster, and in turn helps him break the sound barrier. After Flareon breaks the sound barrier, instead of a rainbow appearing behind him, a small miniature sun appears, and a second later, it explodes showering the area with small white snowflake stars.

Sonic Supernova Rainbow Cannon

A combination of Flareon's Supernova Cannon and Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom. It is done when Flareon and Rainbow Dash break the sound barrier together. When they do, a small rainbow star appears in the sky, and after it explodes, it showers the area with small rainbow snowflake stars.

Big Bang Cannon

This move can only be done in Flame God Mode. It is similar to the Supernova Cannon, but the effects of the Big Bang Cannon are bigger. Instead one miniature sun appearing and exploding, a miniature sun appears and then explodes, but after it does, different planet-shaped stars appear one after another exploding like fireworks and showering the area with small white snowflake stars.

Flame God Mode

Flareon's most powerful ability. It could be best described as having a body that is completely made out of fire. In Flame God mode, Flareon can move and fly faster, sustain more damage, and his fire elemental attacks become stronger.

Six alicorn ponies with elemental powers that lived during the Dark Ages in Equestria 10,000 years ago. After a long battle against Alexei, a black dragon that terrorized Equestria for many years, they were able to preform a seal and turn him into a statue.

Solana

Nova

A red alicorn pony that is the leader of the Elemental Warriors that lived during the Dark Ages 10,000 years ago. Nova represents the element of fire. He is also Flareon's ancestor. Even though Nova was the prince of Equestria at the time, he didn't like to be called a prince because he felt that such a title was meaningless during the time of war. Nova's wife, Princess Solange, was killed by Alexei. Flareon is able to meet Nova and the Elemental Warriors during season 2.

Princess Solange

Nova's wife that was the princess of Equestria during the Dark Ages 10,000 years ago. During the war against Alexei, Princess Solange was in charge of healing the wounded. One day, she had been constantly healing everyone without taking a break and was extremely fatigued. When she was asked to rest she replied that it was her duty to help her people and she wanted to be there to give them hope. Alexei soon attacked the town Solange was stationed at. Nova and the elemental warriors soon appeared and had everyone evacuate. Nova was trying to help a weakened Solange escape when one of Alexei's attack landed near them both causing an explosion. When Nova got back up he saw Solange lying on the ground. He tried to help her up but she was unable to stand. Alexei fired off another blast that was heading for them both. Solange then told Nova to leave her and get to safety. When Nova refused, Solange used the last amount of magic she had left and hit Nova to move him out of the way and soon after she was killed.

Princess Estellise

The first princess of Equestria who lived during the Dark Ages 10,000 years ago. Princess Estellise is also the mother of Princess Solange. After Solange was killed by Alexei, Estellise resumed her role as the princess of Equestria. It was shown that she was the one who discovered the Pentagon Seal Formation from a burnt book she had found at the ruins of an old library and later on had it transitioned to a new book so that Flareon was able to use it in the future. Princess Estellise is also the person who created the prophecy that shows Flareon as the "chosen one" destined to defeat Alexei. It is later revealed in season 2 that Flareon was actually the one who told Princess Estellise about the prophecy of him. She then had it recorded in 5 stone tablets and that resulted in it being passed down from each generation of princesses and was later shown to Flareon by Princess Celestia in the future. Princess Estellise is also the creator of the Elements of Harmony.

Princess Vesperia

A Neoma that is the daughter of Prince Koray and Princess Cynthia. She becomes a resident of Ponyville after Flareon and Twilight make a promise to Prince Koray and Princess Cynthia that they would take Vesperia back to Equestria so that she may learn about their life and culture. Her house is also a flower shop called Neoma Flowers that sells flowers that had come from Neotropolis.

Infinity

The Creator, nicknamed Infinity, is a goddess deity that created the MLP world. She was also the one who brought Flareon into the MLP world from the Human world. When Infinity talks to Flareon she takes the form of a white and black alicorn. After Flareon sacrificed himself to defeat Alexei, she brought him into an empty void in the universe that was right in between the MLP world and Human world. Flareon wandered in the empty void for 3 hours before Infinity appeared before him. After thanking Flareon for defeating Alexei and saving Equestria, she had 2 doors appear in front of him and gave him 2 choices. He could either go back to the Human world, or go back to Ponyville. Flareon then told Infinity that he wished to return to Ponyville.

Flarena

The female version of Flareon whose nickname was chosen by Spike. After a potion to boost Flareon's masculinity goes wrong, Flareon spends a day as a mare until Twilight made a potion to return him back to normal. Flareon becomes Flarena once again after Twilight and the others trick him into drinking the last of the gender change potion after he used it to change them into stallions.

Midnight

Flareon after he used a transformation spell to change into a blue female alicorn. The downside to this spell is that it is undone if the user is drenched in water. Flareon goes undercover as Midnight to crash Twilight's sleepover party.

Future Twilight

Twilight Sparkle 20 years in the future. Twilight was the one who first formed the Rebel Alliance to combat Destro and his army. For a while Twilight was in charge of the Alpha team in the Elite 4, but later on she gave up her position as leader to Princess Solana. After Princess Solana sacrificed herself to protect Twilight from Destro, Twilight then attempted to travel back in time to kill Flareon and stop the current future from happening, but her attempt failed, and after the events that later on take place, Future Twilight entrusts the future to Flareon and the others that they could somehow save the future.

The Neon Hooves

The most famous and talented band in Equestria. The Neon Hooves make a total of 2 appearances. In season 2 where Flareon joins their band, though he ends up leaving, and in season 4 where they defeat Flareon and the Spitfires in the finals during the Battle of the Bands.

Partay Bash

A yellow earth pony that makes an appearance at every party that takes place around Ponyville. He is also close friends with DJ Pon-3. Partay Bash can been seen during the party the Cutie Mark Crusaders had thrown at Golden Oaks Library and later on the party Applejack had at Apple Acres.

Pets and Monsters

Chiberatsu

Flareon's pet wolf, nicknamed Chibi, is the child of the Sun Goddess Amaterasu. Chiberatsu is a kind and timid wolf that has control of the fire element and also has healing abilities. Chiberatsu's loyalty and bond with Flareon is very strong.

Devil Serpent

The Devil Serpent is a giant, three-eyed, purple serpent with a fearsome reputation that lives in the Caustic Caverns in Equestria. It is said that the strength of the species varies with the individual, making it a very unpredictable opponent.

Werehog

A dangerous animal that will take possession of a body and use it against the host's will. Also, the host may not even realize that they are being possessed by the werehog. The only way to safety separate the werehog from the victims' body is to preform an act that annoys the host until they are able to force the werehog out of their body.

Villains and Enemies

Alexei

A black dragon that terrorized Equestria during the Dark Ages 10,000 years ago. After learning the Hexagon Seal Formation, Nova and the Elemental Warriors were able to seal Alexei and turn him into a stone statue. Flareon is tricked by Discord into unlocking the seal on Alexei's statue which results in Alexei coming back to life. Alexei is able to create and command dragons made out of shadows. He is also the creator of Dark Flareon. Alexei is eventually defeat by Flareon. Before Alexei was defeated, he left a part of himself behind that would one day be activated, and would attempt to engulf Equestria in total darkness, but his plan was eventually foiled by Twilight.

Van

A black dragon that lived during the Dark Ages 10,000 years ago in Equestria. Van is also Alexei's younger brother. During the Dark Ages, Van and Alexei argued as to who would take over Equestria after they conquered it. Van and Alexei ended up fighting each other in a battle which resulted in Alexei's victory. After Alexei defeated Van, he sealed him away in the form of a ball of stone and buried him underground. After Alexei was defeated by Flareon, the seal on Van started to weaken to the point where he was able to break free. Van then attempted to finish what his brother started and attempted to conqueror Equestria. Van is eventually defeated by Summer and the other new users of the Elements of Harmony. While he isn't as strong as Alexei and isn't able to summon as many shadow dragons, Van is better at absorbing energy than Alexei, and unlike Alexei who can only use the energy he absorbs for health regeneration, Van is able to shoot it in the form of a burst of energy from his hands as an offensive attack in addition to using it to heal himself.

Discord

A dragon combined with different animal parts. Princess Celestia explains that Discord ruled over Equestria along with Alexei during the Dark Ages 10,000 years ago, until the Elemental Warriors used the Hexagon Seal Formation to imprison him in stone, but because the seal preformed was imperfect, Discord was eventually able to break free. Discord manages to trick Flareon into unlocking the seal on Alexei's statue. Discord is seen constantly attempting to cause chaos for Flareon, Twilight, and the others. Twilight and the others were able to seal Discord once again after performing the Hexagon Seal Formation using the Elements of Harmony. The word discord means "a lack of harmony" or "a disagreement".

Draco

A black 3-headed dragon that has 3 personalities. Draco is the most powerful dragon in Alexei's army. The middle head is the leader of the 3 heads and the serious one. The left head is the dumb one and is slow to pick up on things. The right head is the sarcastic one and likes to makes jokes. Draco is Alexei's strongest and most powerful dragon in his army. In the past, even the Elemental Warriors had a hard time dealing with Draco. Flareon is faced against Draco when Alexei sends him to destroy Ponyville which marks Flareon's final challenge from Alexei. Flareon is eventually able to defeat Draco after obtaining his final power called "Flame God Mode".

Grim

A black skeleton-like dragon that Alexei created that has the ability to regenerate parts of his body at will after receiving a small amounts of damage. Grim ponynapped Twilight during her date with Flareon and held her for ransom. Flareon eventually is able to defeat Grim with a Fire Shuriken after his previous attacks weren't powerful enough to defeat him.

Maximus

A young, black dragon that can multiply and create 100 clones of himself. He is also the lowest ranking member of the Ferocious Five. Since Maximus is a teenager, he is very hotheaded and cocky, and charges into situations without thinking. After being resurrected by Alexei, he is ordered to attack Ponyville, and is faced against Flareon in a battle which marks Flareon's 2nd challenge from Alexei. Maximus is eventually defeated by Flareon's Fire Tornado.

Necro

A black dragon that is an expert magician and illusionist. Necro is the most powerful dragon in Van's army. Necro is able to preform all types of magic tricks and illusions to completely fool his opponents. Necro is eventually caught off guard and sealed by Summer and the others after they preformed a magic trick that completely baffled him.

Koga

A black dragon that is a master ninja who is one with the shadows. Koga is very fast and agile and is able to create and throw shadow kunai. He can also move fast enough to create multiple copies of himself to confuse him enemies. After Koga gets caught in a molasses trap, he is sealed Summer and the others. This marked the 2nd challenge by Van to test Summer and the others.

Beatrix

A black, female dragon that has the power to seduce males. Beatrix is the lowest ranking member in Van's Army. Beatrix uses a colorless perfume to put males under her spell and can order them to fight for her. After Summer and the others figure out the trick to Beatrix's ability, they are able to counter it and defeat her by using the Hexagon Seal formation.

Dark Flareon

A black and red fire element alicorn that was created by Alexei. Dark Flareon is Flareon's dark side. In the future, it is shown that Dark Flareon defeated Flareon and absorbed him. After Dark Flareon absorbed Alexei, he became Destro. Dark Flareon is eventually defeated by Flareon.

Destro

A black alicorn pony that possesses Flareon's and Alexei's power after he absorbed both of them. Destro and his army of shadow dragons fought against Twilight and the Equestria Alliance during the "Dark Ages II" in the future which was shown by Future Twilight during a flashback.

Bora

A light blue pegasus that has the ability to charm females. Bora is one of the most wanted criminals in Equestria who goes to each town and robes everyone of their most precious valuables and sell them for a prophet. Eventually Bora is caught in the act by Flareon and sent to Prison Island. When Flareon is falsely accused for a crime he didn't commit, Flareon is sent to Prison Island where he is put in the same cell as Bora. Bora teams up with Flareon to help him escape Prison Island.

James and Jessica

Two shape-shifting unicorn twins who are followers of Alexei. They attempted to assassinate Princess Celestia during the annual royal gathering of princes and princesses in Canterlot. Their ultimate attack is an unison raid called Dark Twin Beam. James and Jessica were eventually defeated by Flareon and Twilight.

Trixie

An azure unicorn pony and traveling magician. Trixie tends to speak in the third person and refers to herself as "The Great and Powerful Trixie". Trixie attempts to get her revenge once again after being thwarted by Twilight twice, but this time she sets her sights on Flareon. After getting Flareon alone with her, Trixie activates a green amulet around her neck called the Amulet of Amnesia which absorbs Flareon's memory giving him amnesia. Trixie then attempts to use Flareon to take over Canterlot, but she is eventually defeated by Twilight. Later on Trixie returns, but this time she finally apologizes for all the wrongdoing she had done which results in everyone forgiving her. The name Trixie is a diminutive form of Beatrix.

Zeo

A husky dark red earth pony with tribal tattoos that is the "Surfing King" of Seashell Beach. Zeo would knock anyone off their surfboard if they attempted to surf on his beach. After Zeo gets defeated by Flareon during a surfing challenge, he asks Flareon if he could become his apprentice. After a change in attitude, Zeo hosts surfing lessons to teach beginners how to surf.

Blue Thunder

A blue pegasus with white lightning-shaped markings. Blue Thunder was once the most famous racer in the Equestria 500, but he was betrayed by his teammates who framed him and unfortunately Blue Thunder was banned from racing in the Equestria 500 forever. Blue Thunder faked being in love with Rainbow Dash and took advantage of her love for him. Blue Thunder ponynapped Rainbow Dash and was planning on handing her over to Alexei in order to obtain ultimate power, which he was going to use to get revenge on his former teammates. After he was defeated by Flareon, Rainbow Dash decided to show mercy and let Blue Thunder escape.

Black Thunder

A black pegasus with white lightning-shaped markings. Black Thunder is Blue Thunder's corrupted form. After putting on the Crown of Power, which he received from Alexei, Blue Thunder changed into Black Thunder whose speed and strength was boosted. Black Thunder could also summon lightning from storm clouds.

King Sombra

A male unicorn that took over the Crystal Empire 1,000 years ago, but was banished into the frozen north. Sombra put a curse on the Crystal Empire which made it vanish into thin air. When the Empire returned, so did King Sombra, who attempted to retake it. He is defeated by the Crystal Ponies' use of the Crystal Heart. Van is able to resurrect King Sombra using Sombra's horn that was left over after he was destroyed. After Van brought King Sombra back to life, he infused Sombra with his power to make King Sombra even more stronger than he was before. With the help of Flareon and the others, Summer and the others were able to successfully seal him.

Queen Chrysalis

The queen of the changelings. She is a shapeshifter who appears as Princess Cadance and takes her place in order to invade Canterlot by rendering her fiancé, Shining Armor, unable to perform his protection spell over the city by weakening him with her magic. Queen Chrysalis's plan was thwarted by Twilight. Van found Queen Chrysalis and was able to convince her to join him. Van gave Chrysalis a small portion of his power to make her more powerful. With the help of Flareon and the others, Summer and the others were able to successfully seal her.

Miscellaneous

Hexagon Seal Formation

A magic seal formation used to seal the target and transform them into a stone statue. The 6 users in this formation fire a powerful magical beam and must focus the beam perfectly at the target until they are completely sealed. This seal formation was first discovered and explained by Princess Estellise and first used on Discord by the Elemental Warriors. The first time the Elemental Warriors used the Pentagon Seal Formation, Gale and Onyx had a hard time focusing their beam on Discord, which resulted in both of their beams becoming distorted. Even though they were able to seal Discord, it was counted an imperfect seal as Discord's statue had a small crack in its chest, which results in Discord eventually breaking the seal in the future. The Elemental Warriors then attempt use the Hexagon Seal Formation on Alexei after they find him. Though Alexei tries to break their formation, they eventually are able to preform a perfect seal on Alexei. Even though only alicorn ponies are able to use the Hexagon Seal Formation, there is an exception to this rule. The 6 users of the Elements of Harmony are also able to preform the Hexagon Seal Formation.

Interdimensional Electromagnetic Waves Receiver (I.E.W.R)

A small, thin, black rectangular box equipped with short silver antenna coming out on the top that Flareon invented so he could receive electromagnetic waves from the Human world to watch TV in the MLP world.

Amulet of Chaos

A purple amulet that was made by Discord to cause chaos. Once the user wears the amulet, it activates 10 minutes later, and everyone within a 20 feet radius is affected. It takes 24 hours for the amulet's curse to wear off.

Amulet of Amnesia

A green amulet that has the ability to absorbs someone's memories causing them to get amnesia. The only way for the memories to return to the victim is for the wearer to willingly return them, though if the victim somehow has their memories restored, it will cause the amulet to break.

Alexei's Army

Alexei's Army consists of Alexei, Discord, Draco, Grimm, and Maximus nicknamed the "Ferocious Five". They are followed by shadow dragon grunts that make up the rest of Alexei's Army.

Equestria Alliance

A group of rebel ponies that banded together to fight Destro and his army of shadow dragons during the Dark Ages II. This group was first formed by Twilight and later she gave up her position as leader to Princess Solana. The Equestria Alliance was split into 4 separate groups, nicknamed the Elite 4 "Alpha-Beta-Gamma-Delta" each with their own captain.

Diamond Manor

A mansion located on the outskirts of Ponyville that once belonged to Rarity's grandmother. After Rarity's grandmother passed away, Rarity was given ownership of the mansion. Rarity eventually gives the mansion to the caretaker, Jeeves.

The Light of Friendship

A spell that contains the purest of hearts that is able to vanquish darkness. Twilight developed this spell to destroy the darkness that was created by Alexei as a back-up plan to engulf Equestria in total darkness. With the help of Flareon, Rainbow Dash and the others, along with the elements of harmony, Twilight has them all direct their magic towards her to charge her tiara. After it becomes charged to the highest level, Twilight is able to fire a beam of pure light, destroying any type of darkness completely.

Light Your Fear

A young filly's book that is about how 3 fillies were afraid of the dark and kept imaging scary shadows around them that prevented them from sleeping. Their mom, realizing their fear, tells them to imagine what they love and makes them happy, and to concentrate that feeling toward her. Their mother then fires a beam of pure light at the darkness which erases all the shadows and the 3 little fillies were finally able to go to sleep. Solana shows this book to Twilight which in turn helps Twilight figure out a way to destroy the darkness that was threating to completely engulf Equestria.

Dark Ages II

Dark Ages: A time when Nova and the Elemental Warriors battled against Alexei and the Ferocious 5 along with Alexei's army in Equestria 10,000 years ago.
Dark Ages II: A time when Twilight and the Equestria Alliance battled against Destro and his army in Equestria 20 years in the future.

Unison Raid

An extremely powerful spell that allows 2 ponies to unite their magic similar in nature together, thereby creating an even stronger attack.

Statue of Flareon

A bronze statue of Flareon that is positioned in the Ponyville town square. Solana with the help of Rainbow Dash and the others, along with the residents of Ponyville helped build it. The statue was Solana's idea to cheer up Twilight who was in depression after the loss of Flareon. The words "Flareon: The Hero of Equestria" are written on it.

Seashell Beach

A beach that is located south of Ponyville. Seashell Beach is the most famous and well visited beach in all of Equestria. It is best known for its quality surfing waves and soft, rich sand.

Crown of Power

A black and red crown that was made by Alexei. Once worn, the crown grants the user ultimate power, but the downside is that the user's mind is corrupted by their most wanted desire and they completely lose control of themselves.

Red 2003 Ford Mustang GT Convertible

Flareon's car that he owned as a human. Using parts he had collected from around Ponyville, Flareon was able to build an exact replica of his car. Flareon made some changes such as making it run on water and apple cider instead of gasoline and oil, and designed it to have 7 seats instead of 5. Flareon also added a NOS boost system that contains high carbonated soda. Flareon's car is ultimately destroyed by Pinkie Pie. Flareon buried the remains of his car under a gravestone near Golden Oaks Library.

Elements of Harmony

Six supernatural artifacts which are arguably the most powerful force in Equestria, though the extent and nature of their power are largely unspecified. Each artifact represents an element of friendship and can presumably only work if wielded by one who possesses the corresponding trait, and only if all are used together. They have been wielded on rare occasions, particularly during events marked by danger and anarchy as a last resort to restore and enforce the balance of peace and order. However, the effects of their use are generally temporary and non-lethal, usually a form of banishment or imprisonment. Princess Estellise is the creator of the Elements of Harmony. When Princess Estellise created them, she infused the spiritual power of Nova and the Elemental Warriors into them. Even though the Elements of Harmony are normally used for a defensive purpose such as the Hexagon Seal Formation, they can also be used for an offensive purpose, but only in their true form. The true power of the Elements of Harmony is when each of the 6 users synch their body, mind, and soul perfectly with the Elements of Harmony. When the true form of the Elements of Harmony is unlocked, a type of magical body armor encases the users and they are then able to use them for offense. Summer and the other new generation users are the 1st group ever to unlock the true power of the Elements of Harmony.

Season 1

The Chosen One

The 1st episode and 2 part season 1 opener in MLP:WOF

"The Chosen One: Part 1" is about how a red alicorn pony with a fire emblem cutie mark, who was once a human, awoke in Equestria, and after meeting a purple unicorn named Twilight Sparkle and her friends, he had her take him to Canterlot to meet the princess of Equestria, Princess Celestia, where he learned of a prophecy saying he was the "chosen one" and was soon given the name Flareon.

"The Chosen One: Part 2" is about how after Flareon learned that he was the "chosen one", he had to pick between Twilight and the others to marry due to a part of the prophecy saying that "the chosen one must marry one that possesses an element of harmony that in part will bear the new future princess of Equestria". The rest of the episode features Flareon visiting Twilight and the others to decide who he wanted to marry. Near the end of the episode, Flareon chooses Twilight and at the end of the episode it features Canterlot hosting the wedding for Flareon and Twilight.

Help Yourself

"Help Yourself" is the 2nd episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. During flying lessons with Rainbow Dash, Flareon ends up crashing and hurts both wings, his left leg, and right arm, and has to be pushed around in a wheelchair by Twilight. The doctor tells Flareon that his recovery time is about one week. Due to his injuries, Flareon needs assistance with everything, but he constantly replies that he doesn't need help, and tries to do things by himself. At one instance during the night, Flareon needs to go upstairs to go to sleep. Twilight tries to help Flareon, but he refuses her help, and attempts to climb the stairs with one arm and leg. Soon after, Twilight tells Flareon to stop being so stubborn and accept help when it is given to him. Eventually Flareon swallows his pride and finally accepts help. In the end, Flareon eventually manages to recover from his injuries.

It's Personal

"It's Personal" is the 3rd episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Ponyville is hit buy a huge blizzard storm which forces Flareon, Twilight, along with the others to live in the same house together until the storm passes. They soon become annoyed with one another and before long they drive each other crazy.

Brain Be Gone

"Brain Be Gone" is the 4th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Twilight becomes discouraged when she tries to help Flareon and the others with their tasks and is told to go away when she tries to help them using her intelligence. She starts to feel she is too smart and thinks it is annoying to everyone. Twilight then decides to make a contraption called the IQ Modifier 2000. She has Spike set it to "Normal" and activates it. Something goes wrong as the contraption malfunctions and the needle goes to "Low". When Spike tries to talk to Twilight she responds "Hi purple lizard". The rest of the episode features how Flareon and the others experienced having a low IQ Twilight around. They soon realize that they must have been the reason why Twilight lowered her IQ. Soon after, Twilight accidently stumbles into the Everfree Forest where she agitates a wild animal that begins to attack her. Flareon manages to save Twilight just in time. In the end, Flareon manages to fix the IQ Modifier 2000 and returns Twilight back to normal.

The Break-Up?

"The Break-Up?" is the 5th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. It all starts when Flareon gets asked for an interview by Candice Parker, a beautiful female reporter from the Ponyville Chronicle. After seeing how Flareon looked and talked to her, Twilight started to concerned about leaving Flareon alone with Candice, but decides that she was overthinking the situation, and she said was fine with it. Flareon accepts the interview with Candice, and they decide to have it during lunch at one of the restaurants. Soon after though, Twilight starts to get doubts and starts to think of the worst possibilities that could happen between Flareon and Candice, and then decides to check up on them. The interview at that point is going great, but then Candice accidently starts to choke on the food she was eating and falls off her chair which forces Flareon to give her mouth to mouth resuscitation. At that exact moment though, Twilight witnesses Flareon seemingly kissing Candice, and prompts Twilight to runaway in tears. After Flareon saves Candice, she thanks him for saving her, and then leaves to put their interview in the paper. When Flareon returns home, he notices the front door is locked, and calls for Twilight. Twilight opens a window on the second floor with swollen eyes as if she had been crying for sometime. When Flareon asks her what was wrong, she told him to go ask his new girlfriend. Flareon then tries to asks her what she was talking about, but Twilight simply throws a pillow out the window towards Flareon. Twilight then slams the window shut and turns off the lights. Flareon is then forced to sleep somewhere else for the night. He goes to Applejack's farm and she agrees to let Flareon stay the night in the barn. The rest of the episode Flareon spends the time trying to get Twilight to let him explain. At one scene, Flareon is seen standing outside their house, holding a stereo above his head playing the song "Baby Come Back". Twilight is seen opening the window, but immediately uses her magic to lift the stereo up high and then slams the stereo down on Flareon's head breaking it in half. Flareon at wit's end, tells Twilight that if she just could give him one more chance, to meet him at the park in an hour. Twilight reluctantly decides to go to the park and soon sees Flareon with Candice. As Twilight starts to go back home, Flareon with Candice rush over to stop her. He tells Twilight if she won't listen to him, to instead listen to Candice. Candice then tells Twilight that it all was a huge misunderstanding, and said Flareon wasn't kissing her, he was saving her life after she had starting chocking. Flareon then says that Twilight is the only pony for him, and that no one in Equestria could rival her beauty and personality. Twilight completely embarrassed, apologizes to Flareon, and promises to never doubt him ever again.

The Red Machine

"The Red Machine" is the 6th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. After weeks gathering parts, Flareon is finally able to build the car he once owned when he was a human, a red convertible 2003 Ford Mustang GT. Instead of gasoline and oil, Flareon tuned his Mustang to run on water and apple cider. For a while things are going great as Flareon is seen taking everyone for rides around Ponyville. Flareon even gets to have a drag race against Rainbow Dash, which ends with Flareon winning. Soon after though, Flareon starts to become obsessed with his Mustang, and spends countless days and nights in the garage tuning his car. Twilight and the others soon agree that Flareon is becoming too obsessed with his car and has to drag Flareon to the spa to force him too relax. Unfortunately, they forgot about Pinkie Pie, and Flareon starts to fear for the worst. Flareon's nightmare soon comes true as he sees Pinkie Pie diving his Mustang recklessly, and before long she crashes into a building causes an explosion. In the end, Flareon puts a up a tombstone near the Golden Oaks Library reading "R.I.P. Mustang GT".

Dare To Mare

"Dare To Mare" is the 7th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Flareon decides to try and make a potion to boost his masculinity. Something goes wrong and instead of making Flareon more masculine, it turns him into a mare. When Twilight and Spike come into the room, they both start laughing. Soon after, Spike gives Flareon the nickname "Flarena". Twilight soon gets started on making a potion to change Flarena back to Flareon. This episode features Flareon experiencing the life as a mare. In the end, Twilight manages to change Flareon back to normal.

I Spy

"I Spy" is the 8th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. After accidently getting mistaken for someone else, Flareon is recruited into a secret organization called the Agency of Spies, that have the mission of protecting Equestria. Not even Princess Celestia knows of the existence of this organization. Flareon is then partnered with a green earth pony named Zoey and tasked with the mission of capturing a black pegasus named Mundus.

Braggers Never Win

"Braggers Never Win" is the 9th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. After Rainbow Dash's constant bragging about being the "Fastest Flyer" in Equestria, Flareon decides to challenge Rainbow Dash to a race around Equestria to silence her boasting. Rainbow Dash soon becomes worried of losing to Flareon, and decides to do anything in order to win. Throughout the whole race, Rainbow Dash constantly tries to sabotage Flareon. Near the end of the race, Rainbow Dash switches the direction of the last checkpoint sign, pointing it in the direction of the Caustic Caverns. Flareon soon flies in that direction and later on Rainbow Dash crosses the finish line. Applejack asks Rainbow Dash what happened to Flareon. Fluttershy then says that hopefully he didn't' accidently go into the Caustic Caverns where the dreaded Devil Serpent lives. Rainbow Dash realizing that Flareon might be in trouble, confesses that she switched the last checkpoint sign sending Flareon in the direction of the Caustic Caverns. Twilight and the others soon rush to save Flareon. Soon after, they find the Devil Serpent holding Flareon in one of its claws preparing to inject Flareon with poison. Rainbow Dash then preforms a Sonic Rainboom, which blinds the Devil Serpent long enough for it to release Flareon, and help them all escape. After returning to Ponyville, Rainbow Dash apologizes to Flareon and tells him that throughout the whole race she had tried to sabotage him. Rainbow Dash then disqualifies herself and tries gives the win to Flareon, but he tells her to just forget about the entire thing and has Rainbow Dash promise to stop her bragging.

Seeing Pink

"Seeing Pink" is the 10th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Pinkie Pie wants to go to a party convention that is taking place in a town far away, but doesn't want to go alone. Pinkie Pie asks the others if they want to go with her, but everyone she asks is unable to go. Twilight suggests Flareon go with her since he is the only one who isn't busy. Flareon tries to get out of going, but he isn't able to think up a good enough excuse. After Flareon boards the train, he asks Pinkie Pie how long they will be gone. Flareon is shocked to learn that he will be traveling with her for an entire week. It doesn't take long before Pinkie Pie starts to drive Flareon crazy.

Charmed

"Charmed" is the 11th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Flareon, Twilight, and the others meet a light blue pegasus named Bora. Bora tells them he is a lone traveler that travels from town to town constantly because he doesn't like staying in one place. Bora's charm soon captivates Twilight and the others which makes Flareon become jealous with envy. Flareon constantly tries to out preform Bora, but unfortunately he is constantly defeated again and again. Twilight soon becomes tired of Flareon's attitude and asks him to leave Bora alone. Flareon instead decides to tail Bora to find out if he is as great as everyone thinks he is. It turns out that Bora is a famous marauder and one of the most wanted criminals in Equestria. Bora can be seen going to everyone's house with a brown sack and steals all their valuables. Flareon eventually is able to catch Bora is the act before he attempts to leave Ponyville. Soon after, Bora is arrested and sent to Prison Island, where the most wanted criminals in Equestria are held.

Smarty Pie

"Smarty Pie" is the 12th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Flareon decides to boost Pinkie Pie's intelligence using strong electromagnetic pulses. Flareon's plan works to perfection as her intelligence level becomes that of a brilliant professor. Things soon go downhill as Pinkie Pie starts to come off as a snob and belittles everything she finds inferior to her intelligence. It doesn't take long before Twilight and the others force Flareon to change Pinkie Pie back to normal.

Mine Your Own Business

"Mine Your Own Business" is the 13th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. After finishing an errand Princess Celestia sent them on, Flareon, Twilight, Rarity, Applejack along with Winona get lost thanks to Flareon's bad navigation, and wind up in an old west ghost town, Gold City, on a stormy night. They check into a guest ranch whose owner, Timid Tom, is delighted to see them; it seems that he's had no guests for quite some time. When Flareon and the others wonder about this, Tom's assistant, Hank, explains that it's on account of the "Miner Forty-Niner", the ghost of an old prospector who haunts the local mine searching for the last vein of gold. With nothing else to do, they head into Gold City to investigate.

Flu By You

"Flu By You" is the 14th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Ponyville is hit by the Ponyflux, a sickness similar to the flu, which ends up infecting almost everyone in Ponyville. Flareon was lucky enough to avoid catching it. Unfortunately, since a lot of ponies were infected, the hospital had reached max capacity, and Twilight and the others had to stay at Golden Oaks Library where Flareon had to take care of everyone until they recovered. Twilight and the others eventually recover, but since they had gotten used to Flareon taking care of them, they decided to act like they were still sick. Eventually Flareon finds out that they weren't sick anymore and that they had been taking advantage of him. In the end, they apologize to Flareon, which is perfect timing, as Flareon soon falls ill. It turns out that Flareon did get the Ponyflux. It just had taken longer for it to affect him. Twilight and the others are then forced to take care of Flareon.

Tuned In

"Tuned In" is the 15th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Flareon decides to make a device called the Interdimensional Electromagnetic Receiver (I.E.W.R), which would enable him to watch human TV shows. After the success of the first one he made, he decided to make more I.E.W.R and attach them to more TVs, which he had also made. Before long everyone in Equestria had a TV and Flareon was forced to make an Ultra Interdimensional Electromagnetic Receiver (U.I.E.W.R), a giant version of his I.E.W.R similar to a radio tower, so that it could receive and send the TV waves to the TVs and their I.E.W.R throughout Equestria. Flareon though soon realized he had made a huge mistake. Everyone in Equestria soon became so addicted to their TV that they refused to leave their house, resulting in Ponyville becoming a ghost town overrun with weeds, animals, too many clouds resulting in heavy fog, and the outside of building and shops became weathered and run down. Flareon soon decided that he had to find Princess Celestia for help, but when he got to Canterlot Castle, the guards were nowhere to be seen, and it was abandoned and desolate similar to Ponyville. When he finally found Princess Celestia, she was watching TV with Princess Luna and when he tried to talk to them they acted like he wasn't even there. Flareon then decided he had to end this and fix his mistake. Flareon then flew to where the U.I.E.W.R was and shot fire at the base of it which resulted in it falling down and breaking and every I.E.W.R in Equestria stopped working. When everyone came out of their houses, they started to yell at Flareon to fix their TVs, but Flareon told them he was sorry for bringing TV into this world at told them they clearly weren't able to handle it yet. Applejack simply replies that Flareon was overreacting and that they were only watching TV for a couple hours, but Flareon soon replied that it actually had been an entire month. When everyone looked around and saw the condition of the Ponyville, they started to get back to work and in no time at all life in Equestria soon returned to normal. It is later shown that Flareon made a secret room in their house where he had kept a TV with the first I.E.W.R he made, but it could only power the TV for 3 hours a day, and had to wait 24 hours for it to charge up again. Flareon and Spike were watching TV on a couch, but soon Twilight appeared and asked Flareon what he was doing. Flareon was shocked to find out Twilight found his secret room, but Twilight promised she wouldn't tell anyone. After Twilight sits down near Flareon, she asks what they were watching. Flareon replied it was baseball and Twilight soon becomes very interested and has Flareon promise to teach her how to play it one day.

Smell And Tell

"Smell And Tell" is the 16th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. It all starts when Flareon is seen helping Applejack on her farm with cleanup after a storm. Applejack starts to laugh at how hygienic Flareon is and how he doesn't like to get dirty. She even goes as far as telling Flareon that he is like a male version of Rarity. Applejack then tells Flareon that he couldn't go one day without taking a bath. Flareon then tells Applejack that he could go longer without taking a bath than she could. Flareon and Applejack from that point on try to see who could go on longer without taking a bath. Things start to go downhill as both start to smell bad which eventually forces both Flareon and Applejack to get kicked out of their houses because of their stench. Twilight tries to get Flareon and Applejack to end their quarrel, but neither side wants to admit the other won. In the end, both Flareon and Applejack agree on a truce and finally take a bath.

Guys' Night Out

"Guys' Night Out" is the 17th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Twilight and the girls decide to have a girls' night out. When Rainbow Dash tells Flareon and Spike what they have planned, Flareon isn't interested but Spike is, and when he asks if he can come, she tells him girls only. After they leave, Spike suggests to Flareon that they have a guys' night out. At first Flareon says no, but Spike whines until Flareon gives in. A series of unfortunate events takes place as Flareon and Spike get themselves into trouble and mischief. Flareon with Spike and Twilight with the others are both shown about what they did during their night out. This episodes features Flareon and Spike getting some bonding time. In the end, Flareon and Spike manage to return home before Twilight and the others. When Flareon and Spike are asked about what they did tonight, they tell Twilight and the others guy stuff.

Tree Sweet Tree

"Tree Sweet Tree" is the 18th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Flareon and Twilight's house becomes infested with termites and needs to be fumigated, which forces them to have to stay somewhere else until the fumigation is complete. Flareon suggests they stay at Canterlot Castle, but Twilight doesn't want to bother Princess Celestia. This episode features Flareon, Twilight, and Spike attempting to stay at Applejack, Fluttershy, and the others' houses. In the end, the others' unique lifestyles are too much for Flareon, Twilight, and Spike to handle, and they end up staying at Canterlot Castle. They eventually are able to return back home.

Filly Flick

"Filly Flick" is the 19th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Flareon, Twilight, and the others see a poster previewing a new movie that is playing at the Ponyville Movie Theater called "Princess Taffy and the Bubblegum Kingdom", an animated movie intended for fillies. Twilight and the others are ecstatic about it, but Flareon tells them he wouldn't waste his time with some girly movie. Later on, while watching TV, he sees a preview of the movie during a commercial, and to his surprise, becomes interested in seeing it. This episode features Flareon trying to see the movie without Twilight and the others knowing fearing that they would make fun of him if they found out. In the end, Twilight and the others find out that Flareon went to see the movie, but to his relief, they are happy to know that he actually has a soft side.

Supernova Cannon

"Supernova Cannon" is the 20th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. After seeing Rainbow Dash preform her Sonic Rainboom during the "Best Young Flyer Competition", Flareon attempts to preform it. Unfortunately, Flareon isn't able to preform the Sonic Rainboom as he isn't able to fly fast enough to break the sound barrier and is constantly rebounded and sent flying backwards by it. Just as Flareon is about to give up, he gets an idea. Flareon then goes high into the sky, and once again flies downward as fast as he can. Just as Flareon attempts to break the sound barrier, he cloaks himself in fire, which acts like a speed booster, and in turn helps him break the sound barrier. After Flareon breaks the sound barrier, instead of a rainbow appearing behind him, a small miniature sun appears, and a second later, it explodes showering the area with small white snowflake stars. When Rainbow Dash asks Flareon what kind of move that was, he refers to his new technique as the "Supernova Cannon".

Play Ball

"Play Ball" is the 21st episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. Flareon decides to teach Twilight and the others how to play baseball due to his promise he made to Twilight. He decides to host a class called "Baseball 101" in the Ponyville Schoolhouse. Flareon then decides to make a baseball field near the schoolhouse and have everyone practice. After a few days of practice, Flareon and Rainbow Dash had everyone split into 2 teams. Flareon's team would be called the Phoenix Flames and Rainbow Dash's team would be called the Rainbow Flyers. The next day they deicide to have an exhibition match. The game is tied 2-2 going into the 9th inning. After Rainbow Dash hit a 3-run homerun off Twilight in the top of the 9th, it put the Rainbow Flyers up 5-2. In the bottom of the 9th, after Rainbow Dash gives up 3 straight singles, it was bases loaded and no outs. Even with the sudden pressure Rainbow Dash suddenly fired herself up and soon struck out 2 straight batters, resulting in Flareon coming up to bat next. After 1 strike and 1 foul ball, the count was 0-2 with 2 outs. Rainbow smirked and replied she was saving her best pitch for this moment. She suddenly spun in a circle causing a cyclone and then threw the ball with tremendous force, causing a rainbow to appear behind the ball. Rainbow Dash later refers to this pitch as the Sonic Rainbow Fastball. Flareon sensing Rainbow Dash's competitive spirit, uses his fire element magic to cause his bat to be encased in fire, and swung the bat as hard as he could. It hit the ball perfectly and Rainbow Dash could only watch as the ball flew out of the park wall resulting in a Grand Slam which ending the game as Flareon scored the winning run and the Phoenix Flames beat the Rainbow Flyers 6-5. After the game ended, Rainbow Dash walked over to Flareon, congratulating him on a great game, and had Flareon promise her that they would have a rematch someday. Right after they were done talking, Twilight called for Flareon, and when he turned around, she hit him in the face with a pie. Flareon then replied with a smile that he taught them well.

You've Got Blackmail

"You've Got Blackmail" is the 22nd episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. It all starts when Spike takes a picture of Flareon playing with Twilight's dolls. Spikes then attempts to blackmail Flareon and forces him to do favors for him. Flareon eventually refuses to do any more favors which leads to Spike posting the pictures all across Ponyville. Flareon then rushes to take down the pictures before anyone sees them. Eventually Twilight finds out Spike was blackmailing Flareon and forces him to stop. In the end, Spike apologizes to Flareon and destroys all the pictures he had. At the end of the episode it shows Flareon and Twilight seeing Spike playing with Twilight's dolls and Spike promises them not to tell anyone.

The Clowning

"The Clowning" is the 23rd episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. After learning about Flareon's fear of clowns, Rainbow Dash disguises herself as a clown and constantly attempts to scare him. Flareon starts to become paranoid which leads to him having a nightmare about being chased by 100 Rainbow Dash clowns. In the end, Rainbow Dash shows herself as the clown that was terrorizing Flareon and soon apologizes to him. Rainbow Dash soon gets a taste of her own medicine as Flareon, Twilight, and the others disguise themselves as Rainbow Dash's biggest fear, mimes, and give her a friendly scare.

Lights, Camera, Action!

"Lights, Camera, Action!" is the 24th episode from season 1 in MLP:WOF. After completing an audition for a role in an upcoming movie, Flareon soon becomes a famous movie star. At the beginning, Twilight and the others assist Flareon during each movie. Soon after though, Flareon lets all the fame and glory to go his head. Flareon starts to ignore Twilight and the others and even goes as far as telling them that they are jealous and has them thrown out of his room. During the making of the next movie, Flareon soon becomes agitated to the point where he fires everyone, including the director. Flareon then tries to produce the entire movie by himself. His plan backfires as the producers aren't pleased with Flareon's recent performance and they have him replaced. In the end, Flareon returns home to Ponyville and apologizes to everyone.

Band Fever

"Band Fever" is the 25th episode and the season 1 finale in MLP:WOF. Twilight decides to have Flareon show off his guitar skills at a concert in the Ponyville Town Square. At first Flareon is nervous since he has never played in front of a live audience before, but when he starts to play his 1st song, his nerves go away. Flareon plays a total of 3 songs, the last one which he dedicates to Twilight. The songs Flareon plays are "The Resist Stance", "I Wanna Rock", and "I'm a Believer". During the last song, The Neon Hooves, the most talented and famous band in Equestria, are seen passing by Ponyville, and overhear Flareon playing. They stop and decide to watch him. After Flareon is done, The Neon Hooves come up to Flareon, and ask him to join their band. This episode features Flareon experiencing the life of a band member. In the end, Flareon becomes fatigued due to the constant grind of playing concert after concert. After thanking The Neon Hooves for the experience, Flareon returns back home to Ponyville.
