XBox One: your thoughts

So the XBox One was unveiled a week or two ago and there is a SHITLOAD of controversy around it. I personally don't think these changes are irreversible, but it probably will cost a lot in R&D setbacks. This might sound weird for me to say this as a PlayStation gamer, but I don't want to see Microsoft fail in their new console. Why I don't want them to fail is because if they do Sony will own the market and if they do they will start to get lazy because there is no competition to make them work to make good games, so Microsoft really should take a step back and reevaluate the situation. Those are my thoughts but tell me yours please. Do it, I like hearing other people's opinions

If the rumors prove to be true, I am not impressed. A fee for used games? Continual Kinect activity? Forced connections to the servers to play anything? What the actual fuck! Microsoft had a chance to unify their computing and gaming worlds but they're managing to fuck it right up. I don't get it.

I'd love to see the Xbox One fail. Maybe then console devs would finally release their games onto PC like they used to, where you can see them in their full potential.
