There are probably a few threads like this, but I felt like asking for myself. How did you become a brony and what is your favorite part of the show?
I had heard about bronies from a couple friends in high school. I was never one to hate on something without giving it a fair shot, so I decided to watch the show. What really hooked me was the character development. As a writer I always loved character development and MLP:FiM did a great job with it. As for becoming a full-fledged brony, I was actually quite embarrassed about liking the show for a while, but after watching a few things on youtube, (like Ballad of the Brony) I became proud of being a brony. So far the fandom hasn't let me down. Here's to the bronies!
