At first it told me to be crazily specific in terms of dimensions (has it always been this way??) and when I got those right I got this:

Also, I'd like to change my glow if one of you kids has a moment.

How were you trying to upload it, through the URL one? I know that one's had a lot of trouble in the past, so downloading it and then uploading it from your computer's usually better.
What were you thinking of changing your glow to?

I'd guess it was something with the image? @Twilight Sparkle; might know more, he's been dealing with VB's oddities for a while now.

The "Upload from URL" is probably still broken, this is a relatively global vB4 issue. Upload from Computer should always work (assuming the image file is not corrupted or anything).

Well, it doesn't.
Whenever I try, I see 'unable to save'.
Maybe one of you could try through cp profiles for me?
Got it sorted, somehow in the reinstalls we'd reset the upload limits to the stupidly-low defaults of 0.02MB max.
Confirmed working now, closing thread.
