Hi! My name is Twilight Sparkle.

I'm Princess Celestia's faithful student, and I live in the Ponyville Library. I study the magic of friendship from there, per orders of the Princess. Many ponies tell me that my magic is really strong, and that I'm very powerful... maybe I am, I didn't think I was that good, but, well... I am the Element of Magic, after all!

I love to read and meet new ponies, even though some of them are a bit... CRAZY! So ask me anything... I bet I have a great book on it you can borrow!

Also, I've been getting really busy lately with my royal duties, so I've assigned Starshine, my coltfriend, for you to go through! He knows me the best, and I'm confident he'll write to me for proper clarification, and tell you, should that become necessary.

Oh... Umm... I don't exactly remember... I was younger than you... but you know there's a reason Princess Celestia asked me to be her personal student. You'll figure it out soon, I know it!

If it makes you feel better, it took me awhile to levitate stuff too... although we're both magic talents, so you shouldn't get discouraged! Magic may not be your talent, but when you can start doing some kind of magic, you'll know for sure what your talent is!
