Cutie Mark Aquirement- The day Sketch was born he always would draw ,no matter what time,what day. As he grew older he became more interested in the arts and became much better at sketching. Through the years,his talent of drawing has improves dramatically from the help of ponies met through his life.

Ever since Sketch was little he loved to draw,all day,every day. His parents noticed his artistic ability, through the years as Sketch taught himself art. Eventually,at age 6, Sketch was sent to the Cloudsdale Colt and Filly Art Camp. Here he met Mr.Leadhoof,who taught him the basics of drawing, through that year Sketch discovered the wonders of exploring. This exploring lead him drawing things he saw in the world. At the end of the year, Sketch wanted to explore more of Equestria,which lead to his parents taking him on Archeaological Tour Sites. One day after a Tour of an ancient pillar near the desert, Sketch discovered a book in the store of the Tour Site. Picking up the book Sketch could make out the words"Acheaology and You"This furthered Sketch's interests which spanned out towards Archeaology.
Through that year, Sketch discovered more books covering subjects of Ruins, Archeaology, and temples. A particulaur temple stated in the book: The Spirit Temple of Kuta'Mot. In the middle of the year, his parents decided he should go to Canterlot Filly and Colt's Archeaology Center and study archeaology and fossils there. At the camp, he met many nice colts and fillies and quickly became friends.Particulaurly with Berry Fritter who stood through Sketch through thick and think and reminded Sketch that anything he strived for was possible. This friend inspired him and he soon passed the final History test with flying colors, along with Berry Fritter.
However, Sketch had now received a sad event in his life as his Best Friend had to move to Fillydelphia. While saddened, Sketch had brought many good memories to keep in his heart until they next met. On his 8th birthday, Sketch was reunited with Berry Fritter who moved to the house next to Sketch's. Eventually,Sketch and Berry had now become interested in eachother's work. Reading up archeaology, studying The Temple of Kuta'Mot, and writing reports together. However, it was now Sketch's time to move to Ponyville.
Arriving at the end of November, they finally set root in Ponyville. At a certain point in December, Sketch's mother moved to Canterlot to take a fashion career job, leaving Sketch with only his father. A few month's later, nearing Sketch's 9th birthday Sketch was sent to the Ponyville Young Artist Institute,where he met Mrs.Inkmane, a cheery, older artist who taught Sketch many ways of drawing and sketching. On the day of his birthday, Berry Fritter sent a letter to Sketch wishing a Happy Birthday. At the end of the letter, a hoof-drawn picture could be seen.

This touched Sketch so he dared to do something. He decided to mail her a drawing too.
Sketch spent hours in his room as he had asked to be left alone that day, inside Sketch was drawing to his best ability. For hours that day, he lined, shaded, and colored the picture in every-which way you can think of. This was Sketch's biggest project, and he was determined to finish it. And then,after hours of hard work he finished it. And there it was in all it's majesty. All of a sudden Sketch heard a loud *Flash* noise that stunned him for a bit, but when looking at his flank he saw his cutie mark shining before his eyes.

After this very little major things happened for a few years. However,at age 17 he went to Ponyville High College where he decided to focus on art and archealogy.
At the College he met an Archealogist Proffesor named Digg, who supported art and taught Archeaology. Through these 3 years Sketch took a great deal of training to learn to become a good Archeaologist. During the training and surveying Sketch and Digg would constantly chat about art.
Sketch then moved to a different house in Ponyville and would converse with Digg about art when College was done for the day. Being an artist himself, Digg also taught Sketch more ways of drawing and how to provide accurate depictions of things he saw.
After graduating College, Digg retired from Proffessor and decided to give Sketch an Archeaologist job. With is love of exploring, Sketch was sure to get every detail and with his love of drawing, he could draw pictures of what he saw to provide information on Archeaological sites. The next week, Sketch was recruited.
Sketch was to write detailed logs about findings and adventures and to list them with sketches to file with the Findings Archive. A day later,Sketch was assigned his first research assignment.
