a night Pegasus are mostly nocturnal Pegasus who's wings are like a bats and they are the preferred choice of Pegasus for Luna's division of royal guard do to there nocturnal nature and there better eyesight at night and there frighting appearance night Pegasus usually have very sharp teeth and some have cat like eyes but no pony knows how night Pegasuses originated

Background: He was born in Canterlot right before his parents retired.he and parents moved into mysterious Everfreeforest. His parents were very strict they want him to be a guard like they where but he wanted to expand his horizons. He herd of the town called Ponyville he wanted to meet new ponies. He is 23 now and finally his parent are letting him move out. He began look for the town of Ponyville. He grab his saddlebag that contained a few pictures his fathers armor that his dad wouldn't let him leave with out and some food. He look for Ponyville and it took him 5 days to find it he finally found it. Since he is a night Pegasus he was very tired because usually he sleeps during the day. Now he prepares to meet the townsfolk he is soon going to tryout for the royal guard

balten's father venturia nocturn nightwind was a high rank member of luna's division of the royal guard he joined the guard at a young age he lost his eye when he was chasing criminals in canterlot his personalty is nice but stubborn stallion he is a night Pegasus.

balten's mother alumia elcontia xelmermoris was a night pegusas mare who was for the most part a travaler going to job to job never finding any job that utilized her talents she lived in cloudsdale for the most part she was slight ly taller that the average mare she is a very very kind mare she met baltens father when he was on vacation in clouds dale
Personality:he is usually a nice pony he always want to do the right thing but he has strange behavior.

Cutie Mark: a shield with a wing of a bat on it behind a full moon he got it when his father told him about when he was a member of the royal guard and balten thought about one day becoming a member of the royal guard

RP is all about putting forth imagery through text, much as an author does in a book. This means you need to leave very little inferred, and take the time to describe everything. Of course, as all good writers do, you need to read over your work to ensure the proper spelling of words and their grammatical usage.

What do you consider a "night pegasus"? How is that different from a regular pegasus? You seem to talk about his life growing up, and about his parents, yet we (the readers) know nothing about them.
