What are you guys' opinions on having a weekend show? Because I know that I would be able to co-host. I think it'd be fun. So list your opinions and discuss, So tell me what you think

Thanks Chrysalis for the wonderful sig!Spoiler: All Hail Sweetiegod
I think it would work with how much RiM is expanding.
I'm sure that it's going to happen... I think it's less of "Will there be a show on weekends?" and more of "WHAT kind of show it's gonna be."
I'd love to co-host for it (given that I'm allowed... I DO co-host twice a week, I'm not sure 3 times would be allowed )
"This was truly an intriguing battle I believe...our encounter has borne much flute... Flue?... Chimneys?... In any case, I am quite pleased."
weekends are my best days so yea agreed
Well I wish I could say it was fun but it really wasn't, the bit I've been here was as much a shitstorm of hate as it was before even when I was simply making a joke, I'm gone.
All my activity/thoughts are findable in my usernotes, enjoy.
Also, just because @Cadance the Producer should know about this thread, I'm going to take the liberty of tagging him!
Now, as for the topic at hand... Weekend Shows!
It seems as though this is a popular subject as of late. While I like the idea of a weekend show, the questions that follow naturally are as follows:
1. What kind of show are we talking about?
2. How often a month would this show occur? Every weekend? Every other weekend? Once a month?
3. WHEN on the weekend would this/these shows occur, and for how long?
4. Who would be in charge of hosting/cohosting on the shows?
The primary issue here is that the weekend is a time of unpredictability for many listeners and hosts. We would either need to have hosts and cohosts operate the show on a rotating basis, or have someone who would be consistently able to take time out of their weekend to run it/be on it.
So, let's work on the details! We could either work them out here, or a thread can be made to discuss ideas, cohosts, and times/days for the weekend show to occur.
Personally, I think the show should be related to something leisurely and/or fun such as a video game show/tournament, a Cook-a-Thon, or a Derpin' Thursday, Round Two. I probably won't be available to run or be on the show on weekends.
Also, as a sidenote - I'm guessing the Friday Block doesn't count as the weekend?
I support the idea of having a weekend show. I for one would like to be a cohost for a weekend show. If there was a weekend show, I'd absolutely love to take a night show.

We could theme the show around gaming and other hobbies, organize community playdates, meetups, and competitions/tournaments or we could cycle what we do, for instance:
Saturday 1: Cooking oriented show.
Saturday 2: Gaming oriented show.
Saturday 3: Art oriented show.
Etc ... and then after we run out of themes, we go back to the start ...
Just an idea, but it would be fun to theme shows around leisurely topics as it is the weekend.
Just sayin', we got a lot of Derpin' already. We just do random talking oh so often. Even on shows with topics, so I'd like to have this show a topic if it becomes real.
I'm not a part of RiM staff, but I would like to add some things that I have seen that might be worth considering. I usually am on EqF during the weekends, and everything is usually dead, pretty much all day. A couple people here and there, but the audience changes and is unpredictable. I personally would like to hear more music related shows, especially on the weekend, because people can tune in and leave as they please without feeling like they missed a great deal due to their schedule. Maybe a show where the DJ has a line up of songs picked out, then between song sets there can be discussion. This may provide an avenue later for musicians to get involved and possibly premiere songs on RiM.

I think it could be a good idea, we just need a solid topic and direction
I liked @Shining Armor 's idea.
