He has a white coat, a very large build and an azure-light blue mane, tail and mustache. Most of the time, he wears a monocle and a suit.
Background: Fancy Pants was born into an exceptionally wealthy family in Canterlot. His parents had basically given him whatever he wanted as a filly. In other words, he was spoiled. His parents had enrolled him into the the Canterlot Boarding School for Rich Ponies when he was 8 years old so that he would learn lessons on how to act and speak properly as a high class pony. His first few months in the Boarding School had earned him his cutie mark. Fancypants always attracted a crowd around him. They were usually filly friends or sometimes teachers. His cutie mark appeared one day as he was sitting at lunch with friends. He noticed that everypony around him always agreed with whatever he says and always waits for his approval or disapproval of anything before acting upon it. Fancypants realized his popularity within the group and he hardly had to try becoming the top of his clique. At the age of 10 however, a new filly had been enrolled into the Canterlot Boarding School for Rich Ponies and her name was Fleur De Lis. Being the young naive gentlecolt he was, Fancypants began to talk to her, hoping to make Fleur his very special somepony. They had the same classes together and usually sat next to each other. Throughout the years, Fancypants had emotionally grown with Fleur and had fallen in love with her. His love for Fleur wasn't the only thing that grew neither. As Fancy grew up, he eventually took his popularity from his clique to Canterlot's society. Everypony in Canterlot adored him for his money and the way he acted and he quickly rose to the top of the popularity chain, earning him the title: The Most Important Pony in Canterlot.
At the age of 18, Fancypants and Flear were married and he was overjoyed that he married his fillyhood friend. Fancypants had everything now: a beautiful wife, money and attention, and he couldn't ask for anything more. But all good things eventually have to come to an end. As time passed by, Fancy noticed that Fleur was breaking herself away from him and he tried his best to keep her happy, but Fleur kept denying him. He thought that they were having a midlife crisis and that all will be well again later, but he was wrong. He eventually found himself drifting farther and farther away from Fleur. Eventually, Fleur left him and Fancypants was deeply upset that the relationship didn't work out, but he knew it was for the best. He wasn't angry with Fleur because she left him. He was actually glad that she took action before the relationship collapsed in on itself. Deep down, although he regrets accepting it, he decides that they can still be friends. He hasn't heard from Fleur ever since she left. Fancy accepted that Fleur probably never wanted to see him again, but he felt fine with the thought of it. He continued on with his usual routines, socializing with high class ponies and attending expensive but fancy parties. One day, he decided to go move to Ponyville to check on his dear friend Rarity and the rest of the group. Once he makes friends with somepony, Fancy intends on keeping that bond strong and not let them escape his grasp, just like Fleur had.
Personality: Fancypants loves to socialize with many ponies, whether they are high class, wealthy ponies or just regular ponies. He wants to keep as many friends as possible and keep them close. Unlike many rich ponies, Fancy doesn't judge on appearance, rather by talking and getting to know them. His absolute favorite accessory to wear is his monocle.
Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is three gold crowns and with purple jewels. It represents his status in Canterlot society. Crowns were usually worn by kings and queens. Kings and queens are usually at the top and rule their domain. Just like kings, Fancypants is at the top of the popularity chain and, in a sense, rules the high class ponies, his domain.
