Assigning some Producers and other notes

Alright gang, I really appreciate all of the hard work you've been doing as of late. It's crazy how much Radio is Magic has grown since we first started putting things together back in June. Just looking at the jump from doing about five shows a week to around fifteen is CRAZY. Needless to say, I need more people helping me produce this. That being said, I am looking for nominations for the position. I have a few in mind, but I want to hear your thoughts as well.

Just to clarify, what a producer does is help oversee a production, which is what I have been doing all this time. In particular I need people to help answer questions and such when I am not around. Like organizing/approving new shows, bringing in new people to staff, and essentially making sure everything is running ship shape. Long story short, those with this position are people I'm going to trust to help overseeing Radio is Magic into becoming the awesome station that I now it is.

That being said, are there any nominations?

Speaking of those bios, if you didn't send in a photo. We instead want you to give us an OC instead. (It can be drawn or from a pony creator. Just get creative!)

I'm not really sure who to nominate.... I'd say Cadance and/or Sage.

Ill get my bio in ASAP would have been done but i had a lot of study stuff i had to do:p

I'm sure there are others that are just as qualified I just don't know as well, but I would nominate Cadance, Chickadee, or Fluttershy.

You know what I can do tech-side and how I manage things and would be happy to help, though I know there's more-involved people in RiM. :shrug:

I would agree with this. Those three participate a lot, and I think any of them are capable.


A side note: @Applejack why am I never included in the user tag list? All the other reporters are, so is that supposed to be a hint? :p

So we don't need a OC picture if we sent int a picture of us. I sent two pictures of me, because I don't like the webcam one.

I just need an image for your profile on the site. If you'd rather use an OC, I assume that's fine. Additionally for folks sending in pictures, portrait orientation is preferred to landscape to keep things neat and tidy. :D

I don't trust anyone other than AJ with RiM.

This. However, I do understand the need for producers to help the show run well.

As such, I nominate Chickadee, Cadance, and Stix. I trust them all, and think they could do good things for the show if they were to be made producers.

Waaaaah, I'm so sorry man. XD I think it's because you are not in the skype group (which we need to fix). That's where I look when tagging everyone. ^_^;

I've given it more thought. I nominate Sage. She's been here through the thick and thin from way back when, she's always done a good job with everything she worked on, and she has a level head. So yeah, my vote: @Fluttershy

I'd like to nominate Stix, Chickadee Sage And myself. Stix has done so much especially setting up the site. Chickadee and Sage are active participants of RiM and, in my opinion, either of them deserve it more than I do. As for myself, I've done my share of work along with the rest of the team and I think that I have as much of a chance as anybody else here (except for maybe Chickadee and Sage)

I don't want to have any position in RiM but I wouldn't mind being in on the skype group, I like to be able to see what's going on but I have enough responsibilities as it is

Email the profiles to AJ, Stix, or Thessair. If you don't have their emails handy (like me, I'd give them to you if I had them), I'm sure you could PM it to them as well.

As for the OC/canon character question... I'd assume we'd want your OC, but don't quote me on that.

I feel like I need to do more work for RiM.

Fluttershy is absolutely right. As I understand it from AJ, if you do not want to have your picture on the site (which I totally understand as I'm the twin brother of the Elephant Man) then he would prefer an OC picture. Right now we just have generic stallion/mare blank pics for people without images. If you want to email me your bio information/pic you can do so at chris(at)shuangxi-in-spring.com. PMs work as well, but if you want to include a photo I'll need a link to it.

1) It's your personal bio. It doesn't matter what you broadcast under.

2) My understanding is that we are using no assets owned or produced by Hasbro or the Hub. A name is one thing, using an image they created is a different legal mess.

2. I know, but if we want to make it more complicated: What about artwork, mirrored vectors and recolors? But ok, you make the rules. I understand.

3. No. I called the idea dumb. But I added a little emote that should clarify that this wasn't meant to be taken 100% seriously. That is all.

Gotta agree with pretty much all of this. Sage, Cadance, Chickadee, and Stix get my votes.

I've only just gotten involved with RiM, but I'd certainly like to be more involved in the future.

Alright, under much deliberation. I've given the roles to Cadance and Sage (Fluttershy). In short they can do the following now:

>organize shows
>bring people in
>kick people out
>speak for the show: (like if Discord, a major party or what have you asks something of us)
>Hand out orders to the various teams
>can decide who co-host and/or who DJs
>think creatively to find news ways to entertain
>Make sure we stay professional

Essentially they are my voice and more when I am not around. I trust them to help me continue making Radio is Magic great, so treat them well! :)
