OC: Jeff Smisekpony

Name: Jeff Smisekpony (often goes by Smisek)

Gender: Male

Species: Earth Pony

Approximate age: 55

Background: Born in Manehattan, to two rich Earth Ponies, Smisek was fascinated by transportation. He saw a need for ponies to be able to get from one place to another quickly. The dirt roads couldn't handle the heavy traffic that connected most of Equestria. Some pony else came up with the answer however. An inventor pony invented the new transportation giant, the train. Fast and reliable, it ran on special roads called tracks.

Smisek was distraught, having not thought of the idea himself, and decided to continue his study at Harvard Pony University to become a lawyer. He graduated with high honors and began work at a law firm. He was known for his cunning as a lawyer, and he quickly worked his way up the ranks. By the age of 35 he had his own law firm, Burns, Burns, and Smisek, which he co-owned with the Pegusas pony brothers Ken Burns and Ben burns which was headquartered in Canterlot. During his work with the Law Firm, he came into contact with the owner of the Ponyville-Canterlot rail line, and Ponyville railway station; Cornelius Vanderpony. Smiesk became fast friends with the older pony, often visiting him in Ponyville. Upon the death of Vanderpony, Smiesk purchased the station and left Canterlot and his law firm to run the rail line and station.

Since the purchase, he has expanded the rail line to Appleloosa, but lost a government contract to service the Crystal Empire. He continues to work hard to improve the rail line and train station.


Personality: As a filly, Smisek has always been known as a very smart and friendly pony. During his time at Harvard he studied hard, but still had time to interact with his friends. While working at his law firm, he often entertained famous ponies at his home in Canterlot, and fit in with the elite crowd. Many of said crowd were shocked when he moved to Ponyville, but running the train line and station has allowed Smisek to bring forth his friendly quality in a true sense rather than being limited by Canterlot upper class "standards".


Cutie Mark: Is the Continental logo, a globe. As a child Smisek always loved to travel. One day when he was visiting Dodge City, he came across an old globe. He took it home and studied it. He memorized all the cities and towns on. The globe. He realized that he wanted to visit everyone, and make it easy for ponies to go from those cities and towns. When he looked at his flank, he saw the globe and realized he was destined for travel.
