Candi smiled regardless of how she felt, "Well it's good to know the some of the stallions around here are willing to be gentlecolts."
She rolled her eyes and supported a bit more of her weight as they neared her door.
"Thank you by the way, I'm sure I look quite....unstable...right now."
Her eyes were still burning and she knew they were red and puffy.
-
Arpeggio entered the dorm, singing quietly to himself; he stopped for a drink of water, before making his way to the second floor. "Mm?" He looked down the hall, slowly walking. "Sil, is that you?" He kind of recognized Candi from the distance but wasn't sure. The pegasus brushed a little of his mane out of his eyes as he went down the hall.
-
Silver smiled as Candi started to support herself more, "It's no problem at all, a mare like you shouldn't be laying on the floor, especially in your condition. I'm willing to help you out in any way I can....."
dude... starting to get attached here.... and you still don't know about arpe... don't get distracted... Silver thought to himself as they got closer, ironically distracting himself by trying not do distract himself, leaving any physical reaction at this point rather crude.
-
The first sincere smile spread across her face and she bumped Silver with her hips, "Usually a mare in my 'condition' would be just fine."
She sighed but the sadness didn't return as strongly as last time, "it's very nice of you to offer help to some pony you hardly know, thank you," she stared up at Silver, "really."
-
Now the pegasus could recognize the mare. He thought to himself, 'Now what's he doing with HER here?' He quirked his head a bit... something about the whole situation just didn't sit quite right with him... though he wasn't sure what. He began trotting down the hall towards them, before... "Hey!" He waved, his expression somewhat neutral.
-
Silver smiled down at Candi from the slight bump, then heard, and saw Arpe out of the corner of his eyes, causing him to glance back, "Arpe? Hey!" Dude, Rude.... She gave you a PERFECT openning there! But what about Arpe?
-
Candi's spine stiffened as she heard Arpe and she stood still.
As Silver turned she remained pointing the other direction. She quickly brushed her eyes and took a deep cleansing breathe. Arpe was the last pony she wanted to see her in this state. After one more deep breathe she turned around, stepping closer to Silver.
-
Arpeggio smiled, walking a little closer. "So how was your first day of classes? I've had a pretty relaxed day so far... just had lunch and was going to rest in the dorm room for a while before boxing practice. Was the teacher as mean as I heard she was?"
He glanced at Candi, but paid little mind to her.
-
"Easy, Almost missed my first class though thanks to my OTC work, but I doubt she cared.... Even though she's really terse and strict... just from her tone." Silver replied, "but she's not by definition mean... at least not yet."
Silver noticed that Candi had tensed up slightly, and was taking deeper breaths, then looked back to her as she turned around, "Are you doing alright? I didn't leave you without enough support did I?"
-
"Well how about we check on her then? I'd imagine your guess would be right, let's head back to your dorm then and see if she's there." Ferrarity motioned for Air to lead the way not knowing where her dorm room actually was. "After you, just please don't fall over again. I dunno if I can stand to see you take another tumble like that."
