Elmer Johnson went to a store to make a purchase for his house. He asked the store clerk, "How much will one cost?" The clerk thougth for a moment and said "three dollars" Elmer who looked a bit puzzled said "Well then how much would twelve cost?" "Six dollars," answered the clerk. Elmer johnson scratched his head and asked "well how much would two hundred cost then?" "That," said the clerk, "will cost you nine dollars."
