No, actually. There's this trick involving the number of letters in the words for numbers…I saw "eight - six = 2" and 5 (the number of letters in "eight) minus three (the number of letters in "six") is two; I figured they were all subtraction like that and the plus or minus symbols were irrelevant, e.g. 7+6 would be "seven - six" (or 5-3), which also happens to be two. :shrug: Overthinking it, I guess.
