Is he dead for a long time(more then a week or so)?
He and his friend are in the desert, they pull straws who can go in the shelter (only place for one) and the other one must go in the sun naked?
For the man in the desert, I'd assume he and several others were in a plane and it began to go down because they were too heavy, They stripped off their clothes to remove any excess weight ( Hence the clothes being not just his) but when they saw that wasn't enough, They drew straws and that is how our unlucky friend here met his fate.
SO close! Close enough, I guess - it was a hot-air balloon, not an airplane. Have you heard this one before?
Okay, so new riddle: An archaeologist discovers a tomb, in which he finds a casket. He opens the casket and discovers two perfectly-preserved bodies. As soon as he sees them, he realizes he's made the discovery of the millennium: Adam and Eve. How did he know? (And to anypony whose minds might go there, no, the answer has NOTHING to do with the way the bodies may be POSITIONED. ;) )
