Whim shrugged slightly, "I have no preference today. Why don't we check out that place you saw, Blinkie?" Whim hadn't really looked around at food places. He normally just made his own simple cheap meals and was content with it. This will be interesting, I wonder what kind of delicious food we can find around here.
-
Blinkie grins, and steps out of the stand, revealing her to be of a very slightly shorter than average height.
"Follow me, fine gentlecolts!"
The mare starts forward, smiling at the two stallions.
"So, how long have you two been here?"
-
Whirl nodded in agreement. "Where ever and what ever sounds good to me. I am just hungry." he said giving them a rather large grin. His stomach rumbled loudly and he ended up wiping that grin off his face rather quickly, replacing it with a blush and a neutral expression. He hoped they didn't notice as they started to follow Blinkie.
"Just under a year. I live quite a ways out of town though. I like my solitude." he explained, trying to hide his involuntary bodily function.
-
Whim stood tall, taking a bit more of a stoic stance than Whirl Wind. With a slight smile, he said, "I think it has almost been a year for me as well. My time is normally split between farming and selling. I'm not much of a social person." He then looked around observing the other ponies as they passed. He was a little distracted.
-
Blinkie noticed Whim's height, taking a bit of interest, giggling slightly at Wind's stomach rumbling, trotting on, hopping up and down slightly with each step.
"I just came here yesterday. I used to come here with my family as a filly to sell the rocks and minerals we farmed. I came to Ponyville to start a rock and mineral stand."
She then looked to Whim, interested in his distracted nature.
"Something on your mind, Whim?"
-
Whim woke from his distration and looked at Blinkie. "No, no. Just looking around, letting the world take my attention. I'm sorry, I will pay more attention to the task at hand, ma'am." He smiled trying to convey his appreciation for the adventure they were about to take.
-
"I lived here once a long time ago as a foal. I figured it would be a nice place to settle down when I grew up. Considering all the other places I have lived were a bit stuff or... dry..." Whirl said to follow up on Blinkie's explanation. He trotted up next to her. "What do you think of Ponyville as it is today? I find that it has a bit more charm to it, wouldn't you say?"
-
Blinkie shrugged.
"I honestly don't find it that different at all, maybe it's just me. Then again, I'm probably younger than you."
A building loomed in the distance. Blinkie grinned, pressing on.
-
Whim followed Blinkie's gaze and saw the building. "Is that where we are going, Ms. Pie?" Something about her name was familiar. He couldn't quite put his hoof on it.
Then it hit him! "Excuse me, ma'am, you wouldn't happen to have some relation to... Pinkie Pie..? I believe that is her name," he looked off in thought for a moment, then nodded and turned back to Blinkie.
-
Blinkie nods slightly, smiling, remembering a simpler time.
"Yeah, yeah, she's my sister. I grew up with her on the family rock farm. Why do you ask?"
