The treasurer, knowing that a stronger poison would defeat a weaker poison, drank a weak poison the day they were to meet the king, but before the meeting. He brought water so that way he wouldn't be poisoned by his own (strong) poison after being cured of the pharmacist's strong poison.
The pharmacist realized this and brought water as well, for some reason. (this is the only thing I can't figure out, why not just bring his poison so everyone lives?)
The treasurer drank only water at the meeting and died of his weak poison, and the pharmacist drank only water and lived.
King got some really useless "poison" out of that.
yea that's it and yes it's that hard since it requires some outside of the box thinking while also following the pattern :shrug: one had to die, the king doesn't know both of them brougth water so he thinks he has a strong poison :|
