That's because it's fun.
Also, I can't find the answer to the riddle :facehoof:
Maybe @Noi can try his hand at this riddle?
i'd give a hint if it wouldn't spoil the entire riddle :/ i'm kinda doubting on just posting another one if and putting that one in unsolved (that is if multiple people want me to do so ofcourse) because i do admit that this one requires both outside of the box thinking and logical thinking at the same time. it's not an easy one but also not the hardest one in my riddlehat :|
The treasurer switched jobs with the pharm. and the pharm. made both parties wear masks. The pharm. and treas. where twins so the king didnt know which was which.....sorry, craziest answer i could think of
riddle 39:
A man wanted to get into a members only club so he hid and watched the guard at the door. The guard said a number to each member as they approached and the member would say a number of his own. If they answered with the correct number they were let in else they’d be thrown out. One member came to the door, the guard said twelve, the member said six and was let in. another member came and the guard said six, the member responded with three and was let in. The guy thinking he knew enough went to the door, the guard said ten, the man said five but was rejected.
What was the correct number and why?
i'll move 38th to unsolved and remind people of it once in a while
At first, I thought it had to do with the answers being odd numbers, but noticing the 6, that was wrong. What I think, is each time a number is added, the number it's subtracted by is divided by two aswell. Going on this, I think the correct number was 9.5
I thought I had it, but revising it, I think I'm crazy.
My logic could be a bit off, but I'm going to say the number was supposed to be 6 again. The reason I came up with is however many digits are in the number that the guard gives, you take that number multiplied by three and that's the number the member should say. 12 is two digits, times 3 is 6. 6 is one digit, times 3 is 3. Therefore with 10 being two digits, the answer would be 6.
