Blinkie made her way into a shop, conversing with the owner for quite a while.
She came out, pulling a large cart filled with large amounts of bottles, tins and cans of food, lanterns, extra sleeping bags and two tents.
"Got the supplies...we'll be moving out soon."
-
"Holy bageebus!" Red exclaimed, to nopony in particular.
"That's a lot of stuff!
-
Whirl inspected the load. He nodded his head and said, "I insist you allow me to pull this for you." He gave her a smile and took a second look at the load. He was excited to get started doing anything.
-
Ferrarity giggled at Whirls offer. Stallions will be stallions. "Are you sure you shouldn't pack the kitchen sink too, Blinkie?" She joked seeing that it was quite a few things they were taking, but there were quite a few ponies going so it was understandable.
-
Red turned to Ferrarity.
"I wouldn't be surprised if there was already a couple in there, maybe even the whole kitchen!" Red busted out laughing from her joke.
-
Blinkie giggled slightly, and shook her head.
"I'm fine, Whirl. I've been carrying cartloads of minerals since I could speak."
She pulled a bottle from the cart, smiling.
"A drink, before we go?"
-
Whirl shook his head. "Nope, I prefer to drink when we have accomplished something." He said as he trotted around the cart. He was making sure that nothing was going to fall out anywhere.
-
Ferrarity looked at Red, giggling to her adding to the joke. She nodded in agreement with Whirl. "Sure enough, we should celebrate later when we reach success!" She pointed a hoof up towards the sky enthusiastically. "And I'm sure we will."
-
"Most definitely we shall succeed," Whim said as he trotted up behind the group. He had gotten distracted along the way to the supply shop and had fallen behind, but the group of ponies was easy to find, they were the only group that size in the area. "I have extra room on me, from the tools I do not require. Please let me take whatever Candi may need."
-
Candi nudged Whim affectionately and walked around him to kiss him. "Thank you darling, I'm sure with you carrying my things my endurance will last a lot longer!" She leaned in to kiss him again, them turned around to look at the others, a smile plastered on her face. As her eyes moved from one pony to the next her smile faltered, of all of them only two ponies had any experience with mining. She sighed and took a step back to stand closer to Whim, attempting to swallow her nerves.
