Silver laid down next to Candi, still sitting up somewhat, "No, it's alright... I just got him all riled up," Silver nuzzled her and smiled slightly, "See? I'm not mad anymore now that you're here!"

Candi nodded slowly, accepting Silvers closeness and cuddling up next to him. "Even after all he said, you're still ok with this?" She touched her nose against his and pressed him.
It seemed to her that this good thing they had going was going to dissolve now that Silver heard from someone else how dumb it was.
"Of course sweetie," silver moved both of thier noses up, and connected in a quick kiss, "I've learned a while ago, that if I love some pony, I should defend that... And hold on to it..."
Silver blushed realizing what he had just said, and what SHE just said, "H-he's not going to come between us... I promise..." he held her tighter, gently rubbing her back, hopefully calming both of them, "you need me to stay with you again? make sure you don't get too angry?"
After a short while Air departed the Cafeteria looking and feeling satisfied with her choice in meal, she began to make her way off campus and toward the designated location for her High Flight class ... Small butterflies flickered in her stomach as a light clack of hooves seemed to emit from each pace she made ...
She audibly swallowed.
I'll be fine ... J-just ... Be careful ... Don't strain that wing ... I can't stress Ferr out ... She's dealt with enough of my problems ... She doesn't need another ...
Arpeggio eventually arrived at the gym, still filled with anger. 'I can't BELIEVE how stupid Silver's being! I'm just worried for him; he hasn't exactly shown the best judgement with mares and he's such a doormat for one that's crying!'
He went and got changed before starting a workout. He did deadlifting and bench pressing, able to lift a good 20 pounds higher than he usually could thanks to his 'desensitization' to pain his anger was bringing. '...I... dammit, Silver, you're one of my best friends! Why wouldn't you at least hear me out?!'
After he did a set of squats for his hindlegs, he did some punch work on a heavy bag. The large pegasus showed it no mercy, pummeling it senseless, beating his anger out with every blow.
Arpeggio then showered off, cleaning up. By this time, most of his anger was gone. His adrenaline was starting to wear off... he felt tired... sore... and all his anger was being replaced by sadness. '...H-How could I do that to him? M-My friend... how could I hit him like that? D-Dammit, Silver... I... I...'
Arpeggio found a nearby bench, a little out of the way... which was good. He prayed that he wouldn't be seen... he laid down on the bench, buried his face in his forelegs (covering it with his large wings) and bawled. He bawled his eyes out.
Candi nodded sadly, moving closer to Silver. "Please don't leave me tonight, I don't want to be alone after all of this!" She dug her face into Silvers shoulder and held him close, refusing to let go. She was still worried that Arpe would say something to Silver that would make him change his mind, something that would make him leave her even after he said he loved her.
"Sil, what Arpe said....that you would stay with me even if it made you sad.....is that true? " She pulled back to look in his eyes, biting her lip anxiously.
Peeps walked, or rather skipped, toward her class. She entered the room and took the nearest seat, still in a giddy haze from her lunch with Megabyte. Megabyte. My new marefriend. I cannot wait to see her. How many minutes have passed? Only 5. Perhaps I should be taking notes. Peeps glanced around the room to see that her classmates with their heads down, scribbling furiously. She watched the professor clomp back and forth, heavy on his hooves, as a stream of monotonous information flowed from his mouth. What is he speaking about currently? Peeps edged herself toward the pony next to her and peered over her paper. The words seemed to run together; Peeps's vision became a little cloudy and a wistful sigh escaped her lips as she daydreamed about what could happen after class. Soon enough she was on her way back to the dorms in an almost insane hurry. She came into her dorm room, shut the door behind her, tossed her things aside and jumped into the shower to freshen up for her evening.
Silver pulled back with a caring smile on his muzzle, looking back into Candi's eyes, "Of course it's true... that's just the way I am naturally I would do anything to make my marefriend happy...." Inside his mind, Silver was trying to think through what could come of this, since he was just speaking the truth, "But if you're happy, I'm happy..."
