Candi nodded, feeling very assured. "I will make sure you have the energy, one little kiss and im sure you would find the strengh to keep me safe!" She turned her attention back to the table, and more specificly a menu. She picked it up and flipped through the few pages it contained. "Darling, I spent all the bits I carried today, can you buy me some lunch, Lush is hungry!" She turned to him, with big puppy dog eyes and pouty lips.
-
Whim nuzzled her lightly. With his voice back at normal tone, "Of course, I can cover your lunch, M'lady. I think I have enough bits to cover Lush's as well. Order whatever your hearts desire." He smiled warmly at Candi, then turned back to Blinkie.
"We will both be going. If things get too rough, we will just head back. I think this will be a wonderful adventure for us to take together." He said with a nod. "I'll put the bits in the box when we get back to the booth."
-
Blinkie sighed, and rubbed her forehead.
"I don't think that's very wise, but..as you wish."
She nodded to Ferrarity, taking the bits.
The earth pony rose slowly, coughing into her hoof.
"I'll..I'll be right back, got to..get some fresh air."
She exited the restaurant, and lay up against a tree, her thoughts consuming her full attention.
-
Candi leafed through the menu eagerly, everything looked good to her. Her stomach loud a loud grumble and she placed on hoof on her stomach to settle it. At Blinkies remark she looked up from the menu and smiled, "Whim says I will be ok, and I trust him. Wise or not, we are both in." She looked back down at the menu for a while longer before closing it and looking around for Whim. "Thank you for the bits darling, I will make it up to you after our little adventure" She put extra emphasis on the word after to point out to Blinkie that there would indeed be an after because Whim would keep her safe.
-
Blinkie looked down at the ground, and took a little pull at a bottle in her hoof. She grimaced slightly. She wasn't even sure she was ready to go down into the shaft, with more than just her life on her shoulders.
The mare stood up, rolling her hooves a couple of times, thinking to herself.
"They truly don't know.."
She made her way back into the restaurant, taking her seat in solemn silence.
-
The waiter soon arrived, carrying plates and saucers full of food. Blinkie smiled slightly, glad to know her hunger would be satisfied. The server lay out the food on the table.
-
Whim laughed, "You do not have to pay me back, M'lady. Save your bits and put them toward more important things, such as taking care of Lush."
Whim saw Blinkie leave for a moment, and watched her as she returned. I wonder what is going on, she seems a bit less... enthusiastic. He decided to hold off on pressing the issue, as the food was arriving. He would continue to watch out, and see if he could figure out what was going on.
Whim grabbed a chair and brought it up next to Candi. Realizing that her lunch would take more time to arrive, "I got a dandelion sandwich with a side of hay. Would you like some?"
-
Ferrarity ordered her own food, getting a plate of alfredo. "It's the Istallion in me!" She giggled and waited for her order to be brought out, looking at the others who seem to also be going on this expedition, she was excited to go on this venture.
-
Blinkie took another swig from her bottle, sending a shiver down her spine.
"..so, um...you're all ready?"
-
Whirl had already finished eating, he always was a fast eater. He let out a small burp. "Excuse me... Uh, yeah. I would say I am ready." He said as he went through the checklist of things he needed to get done today. Since all of them were checked off, at least the ones he could remember, he nodded again.
