riddle 46:
The home of Lindsey Tate was completely dark as Shadow and Kareem
Knocked on the front door. "As I said," murmured Kareem, "This is not like
her at all. She hasn't answered her phone all day, and being late for our dat
is totally out of character." Shadow tried the door and found it unlocked.
They stepped into the front hall and called out, but there was no answer.
Kareem tried the front ligth switch but nothing happened. "I'll try the light
at the other end of the hall," offered Kareem, feeling his way along the wall.
Kareem flipped the switch, casting light on the body of Lindsey sprawled
across the hall floor. She had been shot in the back. Kareem turned around and
gasped in horror, grabbing his stomach. "This little scene makes you
look rather guilty of murder," accused Shadow. Why?
I'm sure this is wrong, but Kareem was probably one of the few people who knew enough about the house to be able to turn all the lights off and get out after killing her without making a disturbance. Most of the time if someone is to murder someone else, they just flee immediately.
Or if he turned around and gasped before even looking at the body, that would be a dead giveaway as well.
I guess those are my two guesses, but like I said, they don't seem right. This one didn't come to mind immediately.
was the body close to Shadow or Kareem?
Kareem didn't trip over the body in the hall, even though it was dark...
Also, why did he grab his stomach?
I'm still working on a full answer :P
He was in a scary movie
He was choking
Or if its that kind of club the "dancers" were too good
He was poisoned
He was acting?
He started dancing with the people in the show "the music took him" as some would say
He was just nervous about the date. There was nothing outwardly wrong with him.
to all of you, no. he wasn't acting, in a movie and something was happening to/with him.
edit: ok i'm moving this to unsolved, It's a bit unfair for those who don't know what the combination of those symptons are/do
