Fiction Illumination #3

Alright story fans: Today we'll be touching on a topic that is very near and dear to my heart - Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash's past as Cloudsdale pegasi. Apart from the fairly-well-confirmed Princess history we seem set to be enlightened with, what I want to see most in season four is a reminiscence of these two fillies growing up together. We see from the episode Cutie Mark Chronicles that RD stood up for Flutters in her moment of need; but what we don't know is if they were actually friends before the race that determined their destinies.


It's for this reason that I've chosen today's topic, and a particular fic that serves to further my curiosity about the two during their pre-Ponyville lives. A small number of you (maybe not so small) may know about my favourite comic strip Dash Academy, which directly deals with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy in flight school; alongside other memorable characters like Gilda, Firefly, Surprise and Derpy Hooves. But it's always the interactions between RD and 'Shy that give me the biggest heart-warms.


Without further ado, I present to you, my two new authors for the day, and your genre: Slice Of Life!
